“What a beautiful place.”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

While visiting the area and looking for a place to spend the night we drove by the 4 Seasons Inn. We immediately called and had them save us a room. What a perfect place to stay in the mountains! The scenery was amazing. The sound of the rushing water from the adjacent river added to the ambiance. We stayed on the second floor. There was a small deck and chairs to sit out and enjoy the view. For a small family owned inn, they had all the amenities you would expect in a larger establishment. The room was clean and decorated appropriately for a mountain inn. The owner greeted us at check-in and offered a beverage and assistance with our luggage. I wish we would have had more time but if in the area again I will make reservations and stay there again.

Stayed for two nights--bed was wonderful and being right on the river was fantastic. Peaceful, quiet, and charming. Only complaint was that the lights in the room weren't conducive to reading (located in odd spots in the room), but other than that...perfect.

Loved the complimentary fruit, muffins, and glass of wine upon arrival.

Near a hiking trail along the river.

Room Tip: Definitely get a second-floor room with a balcony--we sat and watched the birds in the trees along t...

My wife and I stayed here just a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The couple running it is very nice and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The jacuzzi was a great way to relax at the end of the day as well. They are located a few miles from Estes center village and a few miles from the gates at RMNP so their location is awesome. The rooms have wifi which was a nice touch as well. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it without hesitation.

The only complaint we have is the maintenance man, or who we think is the maintenance man, could have gone a bit further away from the main lodge on his smoke breaks.

This was our first night of the vacation and what a way to begin! The host was friendly and helpful with our bags then gave us plenty of information about the area to set us on our way to great food and fun. The rooms are what you might want from a Colorado High Mountain cabin, clean, well appointed and all have a view or ear shot of a river that runs thru the property. The grounds are well kept and very natural - with Stellar Jays and Chipmonks popping about. Why this location is not in the top 10 of Estes Park I cannot imagine but I'll never know because I wouldn't stay anywhere else in this vacinity.

Need some quality down time? It does not get much better than this establishment. The host and hostess are there to greet you on your arrival, and you will be amazed at the wonderful gifts that will be waiting for you in your room when you check in. One word of caution is in order for those of us with cardiac or respiratory issues... the altitude can get to you depending on the severity of your problem.

In any case, I can wholeheartedly recommend a stay here.

This place was amazing. Wonderful, private and the people that run this place are fantastic. My only regret was that we didn't stay longer. I will definitely visit this place again in the future. Thank you 4 Seasons for the best vacation I've had in a very long time.

Room Tip: Definitely get the one with the private hot tub :-)

We loved this place. We stayed in the winter time (end of March) which was still winter prices of $80. The welcomed us with treats and were very helpful the entire time we were there. We enjoyed the community jacuzzi just to ourselves and it was wonderful. The rooms are very clean and perfect for a weekend retreat. I particularly enjoyed the balcony and chairs that overlooked the creek. We also checked out the bikes and had a fun time being outdoors.

Lot's of wildlife and just outside of town, very little noise.
