Beautiful cabins on the river complete with all the amenities of home. Except they have wild elk there. :) my partner and I spent two nights there and loved it! You do need a car but it is close to everything. Also suggest buying groceries and eating at home because all the restaurants in Estes are tourist traps.

We loved being close to the stream and sitting on the deck. Even though close to the road is was quiet and peaceful. The cabin was clean and we had sufficient space for the five of us. Staff was very helpful. Grandsons loved being able to fish and have other activities.

If your looking for something middle of the road type option this is perfect. It's not a sleezy motel and it's not a fancy lodge either. We had a group of 7 and it was a last minute decision. The office closes kind of early, so keep that in mind if you are arriving late into town. The guy working came to the front desk for us around 10pm for us which was super nice of him since they already closed. We got a room and he even let us use the hot tub outside. It was everything we needed and reasonably priced!

had a great time. river right off our deck had many trout in it. next time I will bring my fishing pole. saw an elk one morning eating his breakfast only 10 yards away from our door. I liked horseshoe pit by the office. at night there was a big fire in the firepit, perfect for marshmallows and hotdog roasting. only one thing I would want better. the wifi would come and go a lot. signal too weak?love this place and look forward to coming back. Loved the washer and dryer it sure came in handy.

Room Tip: get cabin . has washer/dryer, jacussi, kitchenette back porch with bbq

My husband and I were looking for a place to kick back while enjoying Estes and Rocky Mountain NP. This was PERFECT. Clean, all creature comforts, friendly helpful hosts, by a small river. (wildlife included) We would return in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: We enjoyed the cabins, for privacy, however, I think you could save $ with the other accomm odatio...

Fantastic staff, beautiful grounds. River was about fifteen feet off our deck, we had an elk walk right by our deck in the mornings. Great place for family's, we are already planing to go back with family next year. Cabins are very nice inside, plenty of room, and spotless when we arrived. We stayed with our son his wife and their two children. Reserve months in advance as they fill up fast. Only about a mile from shops and restaurants. Very peaceful!!!

Room Tip: This was a cabin with deck facing the river, about fifteen feet away.

Loved the location of this lodge. So close to the national park and away from center of busy estes park. Quiet, peaceful stay. Stayed in motel room further from river. Room was large enough. Bed comfortable. Needs a bit of updating tho. Walls too dark - so room appears dark. Also popcorn like walls. Bathroom a bit small. All in all loved it though and would go back

Room Tip: I'd recommend a cabin
