An exceptional restaurant, with very knowledgable management. I was staying at the inn and the restaurant was handy. My first night I wanted something light after a day of traveling. I had an amazing cheese and meat plate with a glass of Riesling. All cheeses and meats were from Spain and I savored every bite. I had to have dessert and finally chose the chocolate flourless cake with berries and ice cream. Yummy! Of course, I returned the next night. I was ready for a full meal. I had the beet salad and trout baked in parchment. Both were excellent. I had the flourless cake for dessert again, even though several patrons were raving about the cream brûlée. This is a small restaurant with a small dedicated staff. If you want amazing food it takes a little time. If you are worried about reservations and bothered by the more relaxed atmosphere, please go somewhere else. Because there are plenty of people like me who love everything about this restaurant and are willing to be patient and enjoy a wonderful meal, in a beautiful setting. I have two regrets. One, I wish I could have stayed a few more days to sample more of the menu. Two, I know this place will become so popular, when I return it will be so busy that some of it's charm will be lost.
