At first I was not impressed with this Comfort Inn. Getting to our room was a bit of a maze. Our numbered parking space was not immediately in front of our room. However, the 2 QB room was very spacious with its own private balcony. Our room had a refrigerator and microwave which is always nice when traveling with children. The view was not spectacular but we weren't there to view the Rocky Mountains from our room. I would say that this hotel is located on the outskirts of Estes Park. However, it is located approximately 4 miles from the entrance to the Rocky Mountains National Park. The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous, but not much helpful in recommending local restaurants.

I am sorry that you had trouble finding your room. Our property is made up of four buildings. All of our two queen balcony units are in the fourth building behind the main building. The parking spots are numbered to guarantee everyone a spot. The view does face the mountains to the southwest, mainly Twin Sisters (A great moderate hike for mountain climbing).

All of our units come standard with microwave, refrigerator, coffeepot, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. This makes it easy to store picnic food for trips to Rocky Mountain National Park and to be able to leave some of the larger items behind when packing for your vacation.

We are located one mile east of downtown Estes park and four miles east of either entrance of the national park. This makes it only a short 5-10 minute drive through town. It is also a quieter location which is very nice during peak season when town is busy.

We constantly try to provide the best service possible and I do apologize that you did not receive much help with restaurant recommendations. We love telling guests about different activities and restaurants to eat at in town. I do thank you for staying with us and hope that you will give us another try. Thank you.

My husband and I stayed over Memorial Weekend in a room with a balcony and a king size bed. It also included a fireplace and flat screen TV. We loved how spacious the room felt and the beautiful views of the mountains out of the wrap around windows. The room also came with its own parking spot. Very cool! The bed was very cozy and comfortable. The shower was nice, but the water went cold or hot anytime someone flushed the toilet in the next room. Watch out cause the water gets really hot. The hotel was within walking distance of Estes Park which we loved. Finding a place to park downtown is hard most weekends. Overall our stay was fantastic and we loved the hot waffles.

The views from our King unit with a balcony and fireplace are amazing. That room is my favorite in the whole hotel. Memorial Day weekend is the kickoff to summer in Estes Park and is extremely busy. About every weekend from then through Columbus Day Weekend is very busy. Most week days in June, September, and October are quieter. July and August are peak season and we do run full most nights those two months.

When the weather is nice, downtown Estes is about a 1 mile walk from the hotel. It is the perfect distance on a path along Lake Estes. In the spring, you will be able to see the elk and the little calves. They love giving birth in the willows along the lake.

I am glad that you enjoyed your stay and I do hope to see you again soon!

The service was the best, every one was so friendly and helpful. Our room was neat, clean and spacious. The view of the snow capped Rockies from our picture window was breath taking. We can't wait to return.

I am glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. As a Platinum Award winning hotel, we are constantly striving to provide our guests with the best service possible. Pair that with a great room and amenities, and exceptional value is created. We are lucky to have part of the guest experience provided for us. Estes Park is located in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Just looking out the window of one of our mountain view units is breathtaking. The view is not enough though. We continually keep up the decor and condition of out rooms. In fact we have a 36 point room condition check list that every room gets checked against every day. This makes our guests' stay much more relaxing without worrying about being in a dirty, old room. All of this is offered a fair price which creates the value. These parts all come together to make our guests feel welcomed while staying with us.

Thank you very much. We do look forward to seeing you again soon!

We were here the first two nights of may and really liked the hotel. We were upgraded to a room with a fireplace and the room was very large. The bed was comfortable and we liked the free continental breakfast the hotel offered.

We had some problems with the free internet in our room, it didn't work in the early morning and we had to contact the front desk several times to get it fixed. They were pretty helpful though.

Our fireplace rooms are very spacious. They are nice when there is an early May snow storm. I am sorry that you were having trouble with the wireless internet. We have since added more antennas/ receivers to boost the signal around our property. The wireless signal is now very strong throughout the hotel. Again I am sorry for the internet problem and do hope that next time you are stateside you will give us another try. Thanks for staying with us.

After reading all of the reviews, we decided to stay at this hotel and loved it! The rooms have flat screen TVs and comfortable beds and pillows. We brought along our own pillows but didn’t have to use them. The room was very clean and I liked the larger refrigerator compared to the smaller ones at other hotels. It was handy to store extra bottles and drinks for small kids. The swimming pool wasn’t open yet but we noticed the store, Noah’s Ark across the street a short walking distance away. It is a great store for children and lovers of stuffed animals. The continental breakfast was delicious! We ate waffles! We will come here again!

You are right. We did get new 32" LCD TVs in all of our standard rooms this year. It is amazing how much changing the TV really adds to the room. Before we had a regular 27" TV. After the change there is a much more modern feel. I too love our beds. When we bought them I purchased one for myself. I have the most restful sleep on that mattress. All of our rooms do have a microwave, refrigerator, iron with board, coffee pot, and a hair dryer. Having these makes it much easier to pack, especially when flying is involved. We also have plenty of extra toothpaste, tooth brushes, combs, deodorant, shaving kits and shower caps just in case you forget to pack them at no cost.

Our outdoor, heated swimming pool opens Memorial Day weekend and is always heated to 84 degrees. Perfect for enjoying those beautiful bluebird Colorado summer days! I am glad that you were able to find Estes Ark. That place is the perfect family store. There is also a path that circles Lake Estes that starts just down the street from us. The marina is close too. There's plenty to do around here.

Again thanks for staying with us and we hope to see you next time.

This was an excellent motel in every respect. It is not a luxury motel, but I did not expect or want a luxury motel. The facility was clean, in excellent repair, and very comfortable in every way. Their breakfast was very good. All the staff members I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Staying in this Comfort Inn was a pleasant experience and it will be my first choice if/when I am back in Estes Park.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We try our best to keep our property up to date and in good repair. It is not right to charge customers for a room if the property is not in good shape. This ages the hotel and negatively affects guest satisfaction. This past winter we put new granite vanities in the bathrooms in our main building and 32" LCD TVs and new bathroom tile in the rooms in out other three buildings. Keeping our hotel up-to-date is something we do every year. This is part of our three main principles. Providing clean modern rooms, exceptional service to our guests all at a fair price that creates value. Following these three keys is what has allowed us to become a Platinum Award Winning Comfort Inn. Thank you for staying with us and we look forward to seeing you in the future!
