This is going to be a very short review, because there really wasn't anything to complain about here. Check-in was easy, the staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were big, clean, and comfortable, and the location was central to everything in downtown Providence. I didn't even need to drive anywhere, it was perfectly walkable.

===== ===== =====

RATING SCALE: My ratings are generally based on value vs money. Thus, sometimes a simple hotel will receive a 4 or 5, while a fancy hotel can rank a 1 or 2 if I don't feel it was worth the cost.

Also, a hotel can do everything right and still only rank as a 4, unless there's something really exceptional about it.

5 = Hotel gets everything right, and goes above and beyond.
4 = Hotel gets everything right.
3 = Hotel is acceptable value for money spent.
2 = Hotel isn't worth the money spent.
1 = Hotel should pay ME to stay there.

Very nice location. Close to everything.
Very easy to get to. If you're planning a quick/short weekend getaway this is the place to stay at. You can walk to just about everything you want to downtown.

Very nice staff. Very helpful.

Parking is a bit confusing, as there isn't any hotel parking available. You're routed to parking garages that around the hotel.

Turn on your navi system to make sure you turn into the right place as this is in the heart of old, downtown providence.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, comfortable bed, breakfast and afternoon snacks, and very tasty cookies. Great downtown location not far from the Kennedy Square public transportation hub. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Providence!

On our way from NYC to Boston, we did a two night stop in Providence and stayed at the Hampton Inn. You could find it very easily and you could take all the time you needed to unload the car. They have luggage carts that you can use, which makes it quite comfotable. Although we arrived quite early it was no problem. The front desk team was very friendliy and our room was ready. The room was spacious and the beds were very good. The location is perfect, because it is within walking distance of serveral nice restaurants, a CVS and a 7-eleven. On one night we walked to the restaurant Local 121 and had a very nice dinner.

Very well located for my business trip. Lovely rooms and good staff but limited breakfast served on paper plates and cups with plastic cutlery lets it down. Location is uninspiring too.
