We have been taking the ride down to Providence 3-4 times a year for about 40 years and rarely have been disappointed. This latest visit was just prefect, as always. My wife and I shared a wood grilled pizza, one of 5 choices. She had veal bolognese pasta and I had the duck confit with cherries. Both were outstanding.
One of the treats at this time of year is the cherry almond tart for two. If it is on the menu (or any of its cousins) order it.
