While the renovation of the property is very pleasing, this inn lacks soul. First, NO inkeeper. Just a couple of staff on duty for breakfast and housekeeping. Nobody cares if your here, no one to ask questions of, or provide help if needed. Neighborhood is rather depressing! Run-down tenament housing, in a less than desirable neighborhood. Breakfast room is either too crowded and therefore you cannot be seated OR their are too few guests to even serve breakfast to and you are aked to walk a couple of blocks to the sister inn to be served. Noise is a problem on the top floor no matter what side of the inn. Parking is an issue as well. You may have to park at the sister inn at times since there is very limited on site parking. Again, the inn itself has been carefully restored and is lovely. It's too bad there are so many other detractors!
