This hotel was gorgeous. Very elite and well decorated. The staff were just great. Very helpful and friendly. Easy to chat with and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The rooms were fantastic. Big, clean, and very comfy. It even has a scale in the bathroom! Breakfast was great and reasonably priced. Perfect location for shopping and taking in the sights.

Hotel Providence could not have been better! It is a beautiful hotel and the rooms was gorgeous! Every single person at the hotel was wonderful. The front desk gave us dinner suggestions for the evening we were there. The breakfast at Aspire was incredible. I eat gluten free and they had gluten free toast and they had Almond milk for my coffee. I have never been to a place that was so accommodating. I just loved the hotel and Providence. I will have to return some day!

My husband and I recently spent the weekend at Hotel Providence and found the experience to be quite delightful. The General Manager, David Benton, and his long time assistant, Rosella, who is a front desk manager, are readily available to ensure that one's stay is the best it can be. Restaurant Aspire, located in their lovely garden, is a wonderful place to have your meals and listen to fabulous music on the weekends. Our server, Anne, was especially kind and accommodating. We found the entire hotel staff to be pleasant and eager to please. The public areas as well as our room were clean and inviting. Well situated and within walking distance to beautiful college campuses, delicious restaurants, terrific shopping, interesting neighborhoods and wonderfully preserved architecture, this is a perfect destination for everyone!

I spent the weekend of 8/1 to 8/3 in Providence, RI at the Hotel Providence and put at the top of my list. The lobby, personnel, room, food and overall comfort of a home away from home made my stay one of my most memorable. From the moment I checked in until I checked out the staff could not do any more for me and other guests as I observed. My hat is off to the one who trains these people as they make one feel like he is coming home every day!

Room Tip: Ask when you check in and the staff is very accommodating to your wishes.

Beautiful small hotel. We got the government rate of $130 making the stay a screaming bargain. Spoiler alert: They did not check our government ID! Our room
had a beautiful view of Grace Church steeple. Ask for a room with "21"
at the end for a corner view.

Thank you for submitting a Trip Advisor review. Grace Church is truly a magnifienct building, with an elegant steeple. The rooms with a "21" are very desirable and many guests ask for that room type, whenever they return to Providence. Please let your government colleagues know about us...we promise to give them a warm welcome! Looking forward to your return.

Beautiful historic hotel. The staff from housekeeping, to front desk to valet to bellhop were amazing and very responsive. One of the guests in a room close by was smoking and the front desk staff immediately addressed it with them as this is a non smoking facility. That was much appreciated!

As I am writing this, my family and I have been waiting almost 3 hours for them to find our car keys. The valet, which is a mandatory $28 service, cant find them and will have to send someone to make a new one. Additionally, between the late night live music playing outdoors of the restaurant attached to the hotel and the church bells ringing from early in the morning, dont expect to get much sleep. The tvs in the room were "snowy" and blinked in and out at night, causing a hotel engineer to come and diagnose the problem( he couldnt). This was after we paid for movies which werent refunded. All this to the tune of $429+/night.

I apologize for the mishap with the lost car keys and the ensuing inconvenience. My understanding is that the valet company replaced the car keys on Sunday after having a locksmith make new keys and offered to reimburse you for the other keys on the lost key ring. I also apologize for the noise and have asked our controller for a credit for your room, to let you know that we do recognize that we did not meet your expectations. Again, my apologies.
Yours sincerely,
