“Nice place”
Reviewed 29 August 2014 via mobile

This hotel was nice and well priced. I just couldn't find a reason to give it a 5/5. So a 4 will be my score. Although, if it matters.. I'd make it a 4.5 if I could. But Providence was a very charming city. I recommend walking around town. The hotel is conveniently located

My husband and I stayed here with our two dogs fora family reunion in the area. We had a great time. The hotel is conveniently located near some great restaurants. The hotel is lovely. We stayed in the Edgar Allen Poe suite and it was a great time. Our room was pretty quiet. The hotel staff was very helpful and welcoming to the dogs too. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We were on our way home from a perfect trip where we had just gotten engaged. We wanted to stay in Providence for a night before flying out of Boston the next day. We chose Hotel Providence on a whim due to the reviews and are so glad we did. We were really just looking for a convenient place to sleep and put our stuff down the night before our flight, but when the staff heard about our special occasion, they really went all out to make us feel welcome. Every time we saw a staff member they had another delightful surprise or helpful suggestion for us. Aside from the service, this is one of the cleanest and most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. We don't like to stay in cookie-cutter places and this one definitely has a lot of personality. At the end of the trip we found ourselves wanting to stay longer instead of the quick night we had planned.

Room Tip: The Hawthorne suite is lovely, clean, and quiet.

Spent our anniversary visiting Providence and after looking at tripadvisor we booked at the Hotel Providence. As it was a quite weekend in town, our rate was less than $200 per night. When we arrived, they upgraded us to a suite - very nice. So, all I can talk about is the suite -room 401. It was huge and very well furnished. The reading materials were all Dr. Seuss who must have some connection with providence. And it was clean. Our room overlooked the roof of the church across the street. Be prepared for the bells on the hour. The lobby was fabulous and the employees we met, from the valet to the front desk, were all pleasant and helpful. Particularly Jimmy! Did not eat there so nothing to say on that score. All in all, a very pleasant hotel in a very pleasant part of town.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Providence, a lovely boutique hotel in downtown Providence. The hotel is conveniently located, close to some of Providence's best restaurants and the boutiques on Westminster Street. The staff was unfailingly helpful and welcoming. It is also close to the Trinity Repertory Theater.

Room Tip: Rooms away from street are better.

This hotel was gorgeous. Very elite and well decorated. The staff were just great. Very helpful and friendly. Easy to chat with and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The rooms were fantastic. Big, clean, and very comfy. It even has a scale in the bathroom! Breakfast was great and reasonably priced. Perfect location for shopping and taking in the sights.

Hotel Providence could not have been better! It is a beautiful hotel and the rooms was gorgeous! Every single person at the hotel was wonderful. The front desk gave us dinner suggestions for the evening we were there. The breakfast at Aspire was incredible. I eat gluten free and they had gluten free toast and they had Almond milk for my coffee. I have never been to a place that was so accommodating. I just loved the hotel and Providence. I will have to return some day!
