We stayed in the Mulholland Lighthouse room for two nights. The view was fabulous. The room was clean, spacious enough for the two of us to spread out, and fairly comfortable (neither of us has ever found a king bed that wasn't too firm for our liking). We were out most of the time, so we did not eat at the pub, except for blueberry pie and ice cream, with coffee. It was delicious. The pub is open and roomy, very inviting, and the waitstaff prompt and attentive. There is also an upper deck with tables and umbrellas should you decide to have your coffee there before moseying down to the Atlantic for a more substantial breakfast. Don't miss traveling the backroads, particularly those leading out to the water, as there are pleasant surprises at every turn. The noise from the pub, the Water Street tavern across the street, and the evening traffic all cease at 9:30, at which time the streets are rolled up. Another plus is that there is not another business that has a teeshirt as cool as Cohill's, so get you one!! We will be back.

Cohill's Inn pleased us as our home for three nights when we came to Lubec to visit the International Roosevelt Park on Campobello Island just across the Bay of Fundy. An unexpected pleasure was the clarity with which one could see the results of the tides rising and ebbing 2' each day, covering and exposing rocks just past the Lost Fisherman Memorial Park now in development. Lubec, and Cohill Inn, make a fine place to make time for the tides and quick and easy access to Campobello (if you are not Canadian, bring your passport to cross the bridge.)

The restaurant and the rooms were great. The service and food were very good. Great view of the bay and great location. Nice quite place. I would highly recommend this place if you want someplace off the grid to just relax and enjoy the scenery. The owner was very accommodating and friendly.

Really good menu with healthy choice options. Their Guinness is as good as in Ireland. The owners are terrific folks and the staff is very good. Highly recommend this place! Dog friendly also, if you have a four-legged!

My husband and I visited Lubec during the 6/13 weekend for the Bay Of Fundy marathon. The location was perfect, the view from the room was splendid, the food just right and the staff so very welcoming and friendly. We loved the treat bag at our door the morning of the race, nice touch!
Our greyhound loved lounging on the deck with the locals and runners. We would definetely stay here again should we come back to the Lubec area.

Room Tip: pet friendly

We had planned a trip to Lubec to take a charter boat out to see the Puffins. We made a reservation in advance to stay at Cohill's. While we were driving up, the charter company called and left a voicemail (cell service is spotty up there) that the seas were too rough and the boat would not be going out the next morning. We arrived a bit later than expected at the Inn, but they were just happy to have us arrive safely. They contacted the charter company for us to try and get us on another trip that weekend. After a very long drive, they kept the pub open a bit longer and let us sneak in a few pints to relax. Disappointed that we drove all those hours only to have our excursion cancelled, they answered multitudes of questions and offered lots of advice on other things to do and see in the area.

Continental breakfast had everything one would expect; cereal, juice, coffee, tea, toast, english muffins, yogurt & fruit. We did eat dinner there one night as well and had one of the best steaks I've ever had in my life. Our room was spacious, clean and had an amazing view. Wifi worked great. Very happy with our stay at Cohill's. Hopefully we'll be back one day to see those Puffins!

Location is excellent, adjacent to the harbor and on the street with most of the town's stores and restaurants. Nice view of the harbor from my room. I stayed for a week and enjoyed several meals in the dining room for lunch and supper. A simple breakfast is included with the room. There is no elevator to the rooms which are all on the 2nd and 3rd floors which would be a problem for anyone with difficulty climbing stairs.

Room Tip: More views of the water from the east facing rooms. There is no pool or fitness center.
