Went on mother's day and the crowd was light. Took 4 boys ranging from 2-12 and there was something for each of them. The carousel, cars, trains, haunted mine were all free and were favorites. The kids liked the stunt and gun fight shows, all were pretty entertaining and contained the same 3 actors, who were all charismatic and seemed like they enjoyed their jobs. The can can/saloon show was the worst, just because it very, very loud.

I visited Old Tucson with family as a teenager and decided to try it out again as an adult on my last visit to Tucson. What a surprise - it was a great fun filled day at an authentic feeling western town. I took two friends with me, one from Brazil and they both thoroughly enjoyed Old Tucson. While it does have a slight movie set feel, it's more of an amusement park with rides and attractions. We enjoyed the train ride around the park and especially the stage-coach ride. We had plenty of laughs at the Gold Mine experience with a feisty "miner". We ate some very good hamburgers at one of their restaurants. But best of all was the gun-fight shows. They were fun-filled and entertaining. I would recommend a trip to Old Tucson if you're in Southern Arizona.

Fun place and nice Old Western scenery; with a lot used in previous movie making. Go see a show, take a tour and then enjoy NightFall around Halloween.

My husband and I like all things western and this place was a lot of fun for us. It was interesting to walk around and see sites that are familiar to us from watching westerns and certain television shows. The train ride is entertaining and the conductor was full of knowledge about pretty much everything at Old Tucson. The "shows" were cool and the performers really seemed to enjoy doing their act(s). We had a very nice time and enjoyed doing something different (it is not every day you get to visit a movie studio).

I was hoping for a movie set, it's more of a western style town with many a shop to take more of your money. Seek out the reenactors and listen to their presentations, take a ride on the stage and the train and bring your camera. It's not a bad place to take a break but it's not all it could have been.
