I recently stayed at Adobe Rose Inn during my trip to University of Arizona. It is a fantastic place. The couple who run it are extremely nice and accommodating. The inn is within a few minutes walk to the university as well as a few restaurants and bars. The rooms are simply fantastic and they have a pool and a hot tub. Awesome.

Thanks for your kind words. As they say in the real estate business, location is everything. As you know, the Adobe Rose is located within walking distance of the University of Arizona, interesting attractions and great restaurants. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

Great location (if being in Tucson is important to you), great amenities (clean, comfy, well decorated rooms), delicious breakfasts (different every morning) and gracious hosts (Jim and Marian). We come to Tucson a couple times every year and this is our new place to stay.

Jim and I delighted to be your new place to stay in Tucson! It's fun to return to Tucson because each time you return, you'll find different things to do and see. You'll also discover new hiking trails and independently owned restaurants. We're looking forward to your next visit.

If you want a charming place to stay near the University of Arizona, this is it. The innkeepers, Marion and Jim Hook are very interesting and helpful. The brealfasts are wonderful. They also have a hot tub.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Jim and I are glad that you enjoyed your stay at the Adobe Rose. Our great location attracts people who enjoy the University of Arizona, staying in historic buildings in historic neighborhoods and being able to walk to good restaurants. We look forward to seeing you again when you return to Tucson.

We were lucky enough to have the whole inn to ourselves when we came to Tucson for a short honeymoon trip! Marion and Jim were kind enough to upgrade us to their best room (with a soaking tub and fireplace) at no extra charge! It was a delightful treat after our hectic but amazing wedding in Sedona! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and friendly conversation at breakfast! We will be back as soon as we get the chance to make another trip to Tucson! You are in good hands at the Adobe Rose Inn. Oh, and the location can't be beat! Great for attending football games or family events on campus!

Jim and I were pleased that the Adobe Rose was a pleasant part of your honeymoon. Please return during football season. The Adobe Rose is the only parking spot for the game that comes with breakfast! We'd love it if you would spend your first wedding anniversary at the Adobe Rose enjoying our Enchanted Evening package.

I had my first (hopefully many more) stay at the Adobe Rose and I enjoyed it thoroughly. My room was lovely, but what I enjoyed most were the hosts (Jim and Marian), tasty and unique breakfasts, and the interesting people I met at breakfast. I am so pleased that I chose Adobe Rose for my Tucson visit.

I have stayed twice at the Adobe Rose Inn now and both times it has been great: great hosts, beautiful rooms, FANTASTIC breakfast (pumpkin pancakes are my favorites), and it's a perfect location for visiting the university (walking distance). Absolutely recommended.

Hi Eva: It was great to have you back at the Inn and we look forward to your return. As you know, those who will in Australia have a special place in our hearts. The Inn's location is convenient for those visiting the University like you and for those who want to walk to sporting events, museums and great restaurants - all without the hassle of finding a parking space for the car. The pumpkin pancakes will remain on the menu.

My wife and I typically visit Tucson for 3-4 weekends each year. I attend football games at the University of Arizona nearby and she uses the time to relax. For many years we would typically choose one of the area resorts in early September (cheap summer rates) and then do the rounds of other hotels/motels/inns/b&bs for the remaining weekends, looking for that elusive perfect combination of a great place, at a great location, for a great price.
That was until we stayed at the Adobe Rose 4 years ago for homecoming. Since then, the only time we have stayed elsewhere was for a weekend that the Adobe Rose was already booked. We have no intention of going anywhere else as long as Jim and Marion own it.
They go out of their way to make you feel at home; their hospitality is second to none. Their 3-course breakfasts are cooked fresh each morning, and they will accommodate any dietary needs/restrictions (make sure to let them know before you arrive). They have their own line of scone mixes that they sell separately, and every breakfast is topped by one of their freshly baked scones. They can even do a gluten-free scone!
The common areas and the rooms are nicely furnished and they are all kept spotless. The pool area is your own temporary piece of paradise. The hot tub is a nice touch on a cold night or after a day of rigorous hiking.
You can safely say we've found our perfect spot in Tucson. We've probably stayed a total of more than 30 nights at the Adobe Rose over the past few years, and we will continue to stay there until Jim and Marion decide to retire!

Room Tip: Our favorite room is the Atanacia. It has its own separate exit to the pool area.

Thank you for your kind words, Stephanos. Jim and I look forward to Olga’s and your visits and our engaging conversations. We plan to own the inn for many more years – retirement is a long way off. You can count on an endless supply of cornmeal pancakes!
