We stayed at the Adobe Rose Inn again in February and had the most delightful time. The location is very convenient to the University and downtown is just a few minutes away. The rooms are all very clean, and each individually decorated. The breakfasts are outstanding and in a seemingly endless variety - a freshly made scone or muffin was a great finish to each one. Although the pool was very clean and inviting looking, it was a bit chilly so we didn't try it. The Adobe Rose is definitely the place to stay in Tucson, but if it all you enjoy is your room, you've missed the best part. Jim and Marion are very friendly hosts and make everyone feel most welcome. They're very knowledgeable about the area, and can direct you to many points of interest and restaurants in the area. Without doubt the best hosts of any B&B we've been to. We are repeat visitors and are looking forward to our next visit, it's like coming home to family you really enjoy.

Room Tip: We've tried four different rooms and they're all great.

We are so pleased that you support our efforts to be green. We recycle everything from water to single use plastic bags in order to keep our community as green as possible. The location of the Inn improves on July 25th. The Inn is within walking distance of the new street car. In February, you will be able to access much of the Gem Show with no parking hassles thanks to the street car.
Of course, we are still within waling distance of some great restaurants. We look forward to our great Gem Show conversations where I have learned an amazing amount of information concerning everything from petrified raptor claws to exquisite hand carved gem stones.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Adobe Rose. Marion and Jim were warm, accommodating and very helpful. The "beige breakfast" was amazing, and the conversation was even better.

Our room was warm, clean and well appointed, and we were very pleased with the setting. I found the squeaky wooden floors charming and homey. I'd recommend the experience to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness and southwest charm.

Thank you for your kind comments. We love the Southwest and it is always good to know that we have captured a piece of it at the Adobe Rose. We also love letting our guests know the interesting places to see and great restaurants here in Tucson, many of which are within walking distance of the Inn. We look forward to your return and I promise to serve the beige breakfast while you are here!

What a great place to stay. We rented out the entire place for my son"s graduation from U of A. We had time to all be together and just relax around the pool area. Marion and Jim are wonderful host. Would highly recommend the Adobe Rose Inn.

We're so pleased that you and your family enjoyed staying with us when you celebrated your son's graduation. How proud you must be of him! We enjoy hosting family events such a graduations, reunions, small weddings and birthdays. One delightful woman brought her entire family here for her 80th birthday and again for her 85th birthday. Thanks for letting us participate in the fun as hosts.

I spent some days at the Adobe Rose Inn and I had a wonderful time. It was in walking distance to campus and the owners are both very nice, open minds and make the best breakfast ever. The Adobe Rose Inn is a perfect place if you want to stay in an authentic place with awesome people and if you don't mind meeting and chatting with other guests during breakfast. I meet so many different and very interesting people in a short time and enjoyed that experience. If my way will ever bring me back to Tucson, there will be no other place for me where I would rather stay than the Adobe Rose Inn.

We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and enjoyed conversing with some of the interesting people who stay here. We usually have a a great mix of people from all over the world -academics, renowned astronomers, those exploring the magic of the Southwest and, on occasion, movie directors, poets, baseball players and authors - to name a few. We make a sincere effort to purchase fresh, locally grown produce to serve at breakfast each morning. Thanks for appreciating that.

My husband and I couldn't have been happier with our 5 night stay at the Adobe Rose Inn! Marion and Jim were so welcoming and gracious that it seemed that we were visiting friends in their home. The breakfasts were delicious, and the property itself was very comfortable. We stayed in the Rincon Room, one of the smaller rooms, but it was totally adequate since we were basically only there to sleep and shower. We're already planning a return trip, and I already know which room I'd like to try next!

Room Tip: Always say yes to the scones at breakfast--you won't regret it! If you want a little more priva...

We'll be delighted to add you to our list of return visitors. The Inn has rooms of varying sizes and, as you know, all have private baths. Half of our rooms are not attached to the main house and have private entrances. Many of our guests choose the room in which you stayed because they like to smell breakfast being prepared. We're curious as to which room you will choose next. We make a sincere effort to be as green as possible. Thanks for appreciating our efforts.

This charming BNB is in a wonderful location, close to the U, restaurants, and in an architecturally rich neighborhood which we enjoyed in our walks. Marion and Jim were very helpful in pointing us to selection of restaurants - with a map to find our way. Everything was made easy, including giving us fresh oranges, grapefruit and a styrofoam cooler to use in our travels.

We're glad that you enjoyed our historic neighborhood as much as we do and we are happy that our maps to local restaurants ware helpful. We only recommend independent restaurants that consistently offer incredible food and impeccable service. Luckily there are many such places of all price ranges nearby the Inn. The local citrus is delicious and we were happy to tuck a few in your cooler when you left.

We couldn't have been happier with our time at the Adobe Rose. Jim and Marion were most welcoming and helpful-- even let me take a pre-season dip in the pool! Breakfasts were delicious and the location in the Sam Hughes historic district was perfect for us. Our room was just outside the dining room but that didn't present any problems. The house was beautifully decorated with many unique southwestern touches. All in all it was the ideal spot for our first few nights in Arizona.

Room Tip: There are other room options, suites perhaps, including some in a separate building. I assume the ra...

We are delighted that we were able to provide a great introduction to Arizona for you. Tucson is a diverse and amazing place and we love to show it off. Although we are located in central Tucson, we are only 30 minutes or so from the majority of attractions in the area. We enjoy having guests like you who are from Western MA. You brought back memories of many pleasant times spent in that area.
