This was one of the highlights of my road trip to California! My friend and I found great reviews online and where even more impressed once we experienced it ourself! The couple was so hospitable and the amenities were above and beyond! I would recommend this Inn to anyone who is passing through!

Overall a most pleasant stay with great hosts and a lovely hotel. wished we could have stayed longer, nothing was too much trouble, stored items in the fridge and freezer as we were on a road trip and carried lots of drinking water and fresh fruit, etc. Jim and Marion printed out restaurant recommendations both in Tucson and Silver City, our next destination and suggested places to pop in and see on the way.
Excellent breakfast and lovely pool as well. Oh and the welcome homemade strawberry and lemon sorbet floats are to die for.

Room Tip: all rooms are fab

Thank you so much for taking the time to review the Adobe Rose Inn. We'd be delighted to add you to our growing list of return visitors. I'm glad you appreciated our efforts to be as green as possible and that you enjoyed the sorbet floats. They are something new that we added this summer to help keep our guests as cool as possible. Hope you really enjoyed Silver City!

I attended a work conference at U of A, and found this to be a great option for my stay in Tucson. It was a couple blocks into a charming residential neighborhood, which was quiet and felt very safe.

The Inn itself was perfect - quiet, cool, welcoming and had a wonderful feel with a lot of wood and ceramic tiles. Breakfast each morning was just perfect - Marion cooked and Jim served guests. We had chocolate crepes with strawberries & blueberries, bacon, huevos rancheros, baked blueberry pecan oatmeal, lots of fresh fruit, and great coffee. The pool out back was perfect - we sat out back in the evenings with a glass of wine/beer and dangled our feet in the water.

If you want to have a personable, comfortable stay in Tucson, this is a great option. Jim is very personable and does all he can to make sure you will have a great stay. I would definitely return to Adobe Rose again.

Room Tip: There are a couple of rooms that are right off of the kitchen, which could be a bit noisy during bre...

Jim and I are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at the Adobe Rose and look forward to you joining our long list of return visitors! Thank you for your kind words about our service and our food. I appreciate your comments on our efforts to be green. A safe, clean environment is important to us. Our location which is close to the University of Arizona is about to become even more convenient. The modern streetcar will be in service as of July 25th. Guests will be able to walk a couple of blocks, board the streetcar and be transported to 4th Avenue and downtown with none of the hassles of driving and parking.

We stayed at the Adobe Rose Inn again in February and had the most delightful time. The location is very convenient to the University and downtown is just a few minutes away. The rooms are all very clean, and each individually decorated. The breakfasts are outstanding and in a seemingly endless variety - a freshly made scone or muffin was a great finish to each one. Although the pool was very clean and inviting looking, it was a bit chilly so we didn't try it. The Adobe Rose is definitely the place to stay in Tucson, but if it all you enjoy is your room, you've missed the best part. Jim and Marion are very friendly hosts and make everyone feel most welcome. They're very knowledgeable about the area, and can direct you to many points of interest and restaurants in the area. Without doubt the best hosts of any B&B we've been to. We are repeat visitors and are looking forward to our next visit, it's like coming home to family you really enjoy.

Room Tip: We've tried four different rooms and they're all great.

We are so pleased that you support our efforts to be green. We recycle everything from water to single use plastic bags in order to keep our community as green as possible. The location of the Inn improves on July 25th. The Inn is within walking distance of the new street car. In February, you will be able to access much of the Gem Show with no parking hassles thanks to the street car.
Of course, we are still within waling distance of some great restaurants. We look forward to our great Gem Show conversations where I have learned an amazing amount of information concerning everything from petrified raptor claws to exquisite hand carved gem stones.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Adobe Rose. Marion and Jim were warm, accommodating and very helpful. The "beige breakfast" was amazing, and the conversation was even better.

Our room was warm, clean and well appointed, and we were very pleased with the setting. I found the squeaky wooden floors charming and homey. I'd recommend the experience to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness and southwest charm.

Thank you for your kind comments. We love the Southwest and it is always good to know that we have captured a piece of it at the Adobe Rose. We also love letting our guests know the interesting places to see and great restaurants here in Tucson, many of which are within walking distance of the Inn. We look forward to your return and I promise to serve the beige breakfast while you are here!

What a great place to stay. We rented out the entire place for my son"s graduation from U of A. We had time to all be together and just relax around the pool area. Marion and Jim are wonderful host. Would highly recommend the Adobe Rose Inn.

We're so pleased that you and your family enjoyed staying with us when you celebrated your son's graduation. How proud you must be of him! We enjoy hosting family events such a graduations, reunions, small weddings and birthdays. One delightful woman brought her entire family here for her 80th birthday and again for her 85th birthday. Thanks for letting us participate in the fun as hosts.

I spent some days at the Adobe Rose Inn and I had a wonderful time. It was in walking distance to campus and the owners are both very nice, open minds and make the best breakfast ever. The Adobe Rose Inn is a perfect place if you want to stay in an authentic place with awesome people and if you don't mind meeting and chatting with other guests during breakfast. I meet so many different and very interesting people in a short time and enjoyed that experience. If my way will ever bring me back to Tucson, there will be no other place for me where I would rather stay than the Adobe Rose Inn.

We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and enjoyed conversing with some of the interesting people who stay here. We usually have a a great mix of people from all over the world -academics, renowned astronomers, those exploring the magic of the Southwest and, on occasion, movie directors, poets, baseball players and authors - to name a few. We make a sincere effort to purchase fresh, locally grown produce to serve at breakfast each morning. Thanks for appreciating that.
