Not sure what defines a resort now a days, other than the $20 standard fee that is charged, but this didn't really feel like a resort. Was it good, absolutely. It was clean, expansive, had well maintained paths and grounds, spacious rooms, and comfortable beds. The setup is more like condos, where rooms are separated from the main lobby and other facilities by being in individual buildings throughout the grounds. Each building has about 5-6 rooms. The room we had had a patio area in the back, big shower, king bed, desk, etc, what you'd normally expect.
The value was very good as we got a deal through hotwire ($100 w/ resort fee included). For that price, this place was excellent, top notch. At regular price, it was average. I would definitely come back again at the hotwire price though. It was quiet, comfortable, and close to the shopping of northern Tucson.More
