We stopped here for 4 days en route to LA. It has certainly been the highlight of the holiday so far. It ticked all the boxes for us and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, all traditional, hearty fare. Will be back!

We have spent some time travelling through the US. We started at the WS ranch and moved to the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Twentynine Palms and the Joshua Tree National Park and finally to San Diego. Out of all of this the best experience, accommodation, food and service lies here at the WS Ranch. All the staff were amazing and we enjoyed the freedom we could give our kids; the games room and the petting zoo. The food was outstanding and we loved the breakfast ride to the cookout. As complete novices on horses (and we mean we have never ridden a horse before) the wranglers were amazing with their advice and help and their patience! We even had a go at team penning which was great fun but we didn't win any competition! We felt safe at all times, however, closely guarded by the experts; thanks for that! It is an amazing place with scenes from old westerns. The honesty bar was testament to the overall feel of trust and safety in the place where you recorded your 'chits' with how many drinks you had. We would love to do this again but we feel we could not beat this by going anywhere else. We booked this by looking for Dude Ranches on the Internet and then emailing and telephoning from the UK. We didn't find this on Expedia or by any other means. It may be there, however. We are so glad we did find it. We can't give any other advice but to do it! Thanks to all the staff for their hard work. One amazing time.

Everything about the WSR is superb; the accommodation is clean, spacious and comfortable, the food (especially the beef!) is splendid, the rides, scenery, facilities and ambience are magnificent and the horses wonderful. We've made so many good friends British, American and European, during our three visits. The organisation is excellent and it's so good that evereone remembers your name! That makes such a difference to making you feel welcome. I absolutely musn't omit mention of the staff and wranglers who all work so hard and long hours but are always cheerful and make time to give advice and help guests.

We decided to spend 5 days at a dude ranch with our girls to get away and horseback ride. The White Stallion Ranch in Tucson exceeded our expectations. Our 5 year old was able to ride the slow rides and she couldn't get enough. Our 9 year was doing the fast rides after 2 lessons and loved it. They did not want to leave. We also had a great time. For only $20 you can get personal riding lessons. The wranglers and the staff are just outstanding. They know you by name before you even check in. Our room was a littel ranch house type of room. No TV. But plenty to do. In the evenings after our rides there was a critter show one night, a magician another night, a singing cowboy, roping lessons, a rodeo and they have a nice swimming pool. We can't wait to go back. They feed you 3 meals a day, there is plenty to do in the lodge. It was just great!

I love this Ranch very much. Everything is nice especially the food is very good. The rooms we had the cheaper one are simple. This is ok because you are only inside to sleep. The rest of the day you stay outside. The more expensive rooms are big and very nice. The horseback rides are very nice and also the horses. The only problem was, that you can't handle your horse. They bring you the horse for riding and then they take it and bring it back to the stable. This was very hard at the beginning but then you get used that you can't handling your riding horse. The staff is very friendly. I would go back every time to this place.

Dear neshkan66,

I am So Sorry for the misunderstand! Many of our guests ask to spend time with the horses they ride; grooming them and hosing them down and we are happy to oblige.
While we deliver everyone's horse all tacked up and ready to ride every day, that is just part of the service and the safety system in the riding program. We also have areas off to the side (out of the flow of riding traffic) where guests can spend as much time as they wish with the horses. My sincere apologies for your disappointment, please just let us know your wishes the next time you visit! And thank you very much for choosing White Stallion Ranch.

Just returned from a trip to Arizona which included a three night stay at the ranch and it was the highlight of not only this holiday but any holiday. The accomadation is excellent but it is the staff and service that particularly impresses. The atmosphere is very relaxed and it is completely up to the guest how active they want to be - plenty opportunities to relax, around the pool, in the gym/sauna, cinema or games room but also the chance to get involved in a variety of horse rides that cater for even the most basic of beginners (me) to the more experienced rider. As well as that there was a range of evening activities - while we were there we got to sit around the camp fire for cowboy songs, handle snakes and scorpions and watch the evening skies. Finally the food - during our welcome we were assured that we would not go hungry here, the food is delicious and more than enough even for the largest of appetites. don't give it a second thought - just book in !!!

The staff is professional and friendly. They went out of their way to satisfy our every need and that isn't easy as my wife and I are not that easy to please. The wranglers were all terrific. I was especially impressed that the owner was on the job from morning till night and very hands on. All in all a terrific experience!
