Always wanted to be a cowgirl and had that dream come true here, what a very specil place. My husband does'nt ride at all I have'nt riden properly for 25 years but on this ranch it just does'nt matter. Russell True knows people and his horses even better, I had a lovely horse vert simmilar to a horse I used to own in size and character, my husband had t beginers horse who looked after him slowly!, you have the same horse all week and by day 2 everyone at the ranch knows your name and who you are riding, very freindly fantastic people food and accomadation. WE had a delux family room and it was huge!!. very comfy. The riding is wonderful all on the ranch no traffic or noise its so peaceful its like being in a differnt world!, the riding program is varid and plenty of it you can choose to do as much as you like. A truly amazing palce.

Room Tip: They are all lovely ours looked out on to coral lovely just watching the horses in the morning.

White Stallion Ranch is probably one of the BEST ranches I have ever visited.
The horses are lovely, the rides are included (apart from lessons which are only $20 each, and teach a lot).
The rides are all very scenic and there are plenty of rides each day.
If you're not riding there are walks you can go on, and a petting zoo with incredibly friendly animals and the horses are very friendly!
There's also fun activities tonight, including desert animal shows (holding tarantulas, patting chinchillas), cowboy music, art classes!

Also, even more, they're flexible! We got held up in Arizona and they just moved us to a non-booked room (the biggest, most expensive one) and allowed us to stay at the same prince as our previous rooms until there were no more booked rooms!

It was brilliant!

You also get to stay with the same horse the whole time (unless a different horse is requested) and you can vote for your horse to be horse of the month ^_^ (they win a 'spa treatment', a hooficure, massage, carrot cake, hahaha)

I rode Stetson and he's a great horse :)

Definitely go here and stay at White Stallion Ranch!

the best endorsement I can offer is that I have been here eleven times. The core staff is a family and have decades of experience in the hospitality industry. The riding is at the skill level that you bring. you can get lessons everyday. The accommodations are outstanding. even the most rustic room is very very nice. The food is abundant, (loosing weight will be tough). Speaking of which, they have a spa, hot tub, and a pool, a workout room.
Tucson is close but you wouldn't know it. regardless of the size of the groups that are there it always feel intimate. When you add up the cost ($) it is tremendous value. Also, I have found the guests are pretty cool and it is great to meet them, many like me are repeat guests. This ranch is popular with people from around the world. There is as much to do as you could want, but if you want to do nothing but sit in the sun and read, you can without distraction.
One issue that may come up (besides great food and eating a ton), is that your time there will fly by. Great fun, great location, great staff, great riding.

Room Tip: all rooms are cool. if you have a group (family) of 5 or more you might consider the Hacienda as it is very accommodating. If you call they will give you guidance.

I have been twice to this place for an incredible all-inclusive 5 night package. There may be other dude ranches as good as this one, but I will never take that chance. This one is so perfect in every way. The food is varied, healthy and delicious. The entire staff is incredible, the horses are well-cared for, the accommodations are beautiful western-themed casitas with views of mountains, gardens and, of course, the horses. I actually prefer the rooms closest to the horses, as you can greet them each morning with special "treats" that are provided by the ranch. Riding the trails through the Sonoran desert is a peaceful, beautiful, out of this world experience. Incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. Yes, I will return!

Room Tip: I like the rooms next to the horse corral, but the rooms with mountain/desert garden views are also quite nice. All have little patio sitting areas where one can sit with a glass of wine or a good book.

All-inclusive, all-amazing experience in a very lovely, tranquil, Western ranch setting. What can I say? It was a fantastic experience, from the staff to the rooms and grounds, to the well-cared-for and loved horses.

Other impressions:

-No weight limit; they have horses from pony to Clydesdales! The wranglers are also very adept at matching riders to horses.
-We loved the food. Three delicious squares a day!
-Variety of activities, but the biggest is of course riding, all day every day. Inclusive.
-Loaner hats and helmets, anf the gift shop has western shirts and jeans.
-Pool, fitness center, bar.

But really, the staff makes this place shine! Two very small examples for you: I went down to the corral for a ride, and the wrangler looked up and asked, "Is [your husband] riding, too?" Then on the day we regretfully had to check out, they made it clear to us that we were welcome to ride or hike that day, and stay for lunch and even dinner if we wanted...Wow.

Really, we loved it here, and we are going back for longer next time!
