“First Class Accommodations, Hostess & Location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2014

This ranch style home was built as a B&B in the NE area of Tucson near the entrance road to Mt. Lemmon. If you love the desert and prefer not to have a noisy and confined location this is perfect. Each well appointed room has it's own bath and are meticulously kept. Our room had a view of the desert and we had wonderful views of several bird species, including a cute gambel's quail family, as well as mammals such as the javelina family that walked right up to our window one morning. Beth was ever the congenial hostess and a great breakfast cook! She was very helpful in helping us select restaurants and attractions. Eating out does require a drive of 10-15 minutes or so, but the trip is well worth it if you prefer a wonderful and welcoming home to stay in. There is a lovely pool and a lanai to view the mountains, have breakfast or just read a book. We would go back there again in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: Any of the rooms are fine. The one we chose faced the north giving partial views of the mountains.

Your review generously conveys the character of Jeremiah Inn in its setting and amenities, and I appreciate your kind words! The javelina may have been waiting, in vain, for a breakfast invitation. If you have another opportunity to visit Tucson, it would be a pleasure to host your return stay.

We visited The Jeremiah Inn Bed & Breakfast in Tucson, AZ in March of this year and LOVED it!! We traveled as a family and enjoyed every minute of it! It is perfect for everyone. It has everything. You will want for nothing. We woke up in the morning early with the sunrise and enjoyed a delicious, gourmet breakfast. We traveled all over town, hiking, site-seeing at the Sonoran Desert Museum, visiting with old friends, playing golf, and then returned at the end of the day and watched the sunset. PERFECT!

Room Tip: We like the two-room Catalina Suite with two separate bedrooms with their own ensuite bath.

Green Features: There are little placards conveniently placed around the Inn so guests know where to put their recycles, a note on water conservation practices.

Jeremiah Inn is beautiful and beautifully located at the base of the mountains. The proprietress, Beth is a wonderful host and lovely person... Evening walks in the cool desert were lovely. We have enjoyed many lovely stays.

I decided to take a rare personal retreat and chose Tucson for two reasons: (1) the natural beauty of the area and (2) the Jeremiah Inn. This place is like a home away from home for me. Comfortable, peaceful. Exactly what I needed. Beth is a great host, very personable and helpful. The location is wonderful, away from the city bustle and yet very close to key natural attractions. As a cyclist, Mt. Lemmon was waiting for me just outside the door! My wife and I stayed here before, so returning was a foregone conclusion! The Jeremiah Inn is a gem - when you visit, you will fully understand why.

My friend and I spent 4 nights at this lovely B&B. It's located at the NE edge of Tucson, very close to Sabino Canyon and Mount Lemmon. Beth was very welcoming and had our room ready early for us. Unfortunately, she had to leave town during our stay, but had a wonderful substitute who loved to cook and made us delicious breakfasts served on the patio by the pool. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

Room Tip: The Rincon room is great for friends traveling together as it has a queen bed and a twin bed and is...

Thank you for your review and for mentioning the wonderful replacement innsitter. My visit to my late husband's 92 year Mom was a joy, and I am grateful that you were well cared for in my absence. Jeremiah Inn benefits from its setting near the Catalina Mountains and in an active birding area. I trust that you returned from So. Arizona having enjoyed your hiking and birding.

My husband and I stayed a night in April and wished we had a longer visit. The inn was so comfortable with spacious spotless rooms, a fabulous pool and hot tub and a delicious beautifully presented breakfast. The location at the foot of Mount Lemmon was perfect-- quiet and serene, surrounded by desert plants and animals. Beth was a very attentive, warm, and welcoming host, eager to offer whatever we needed and friendly without being intrusive. She was very supportive and helpful when we told her about sudden serious health problems with my mother back home, and remembered about the situation, offering her best wishes in the letter she sent later with a photo she took of us there. We would definitely go back, hopefully for a longer visit. Thanks ,Beth!

Dear Toronto hikers -
Your review is generous and comprehensive, and I thank you for taking the time to post! Since opening the B & B in 1995, the experience of having guests come who live real lives and have real joys and concerns has been an extraordinary gift. As those guests have shared their stories, my own life has been enriched.

Blessings,
Beth Miner - the grateful innkeeper

We spent two nights at the Jeremiah Inn after reading all the great reviews at TripAdvisor and we were so glad to have chosen it. We can't say enough good things about the inn and the lovely owner, Beth. She was so kind, welcoming, warm, and gracious, and did everything to make us feel at home without being intrusive -- just the right balance for us. Her home-made breakfasts were all delicious and we sat outside at a table on the patio enjoying them and marveling at the quiet and the views of the Catalina Mountains. It was one of the most serene and peaceful places I have ever been fortunate to discover. Our daughter loved seeing the quail on the fence guarding its family. We have made sure to tell friends and family about the Jeremiah Inn and what a wonderful Bed and Breakfast it is.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Rincon room as we were travelling as a family of three and were very happy with it...

Green Features: We think it's great that Beth shows how much she cares for the environment by recycling etc.
