My husband and I stayed in the Quality Inn on both a Saturday and the following Sunday night in early December. It was convenient for us to get up to the wonderful restaurants also on Oracle Road. We were on the back side of the Inn and it was very quiet! I was also able to do a wash as the washer/dryer room was available! Breakfast was wonderful (amazing choices of cereals, juices, yogurt, fruit, eggs, sausage, toast, waffles, coffee etc.) and since we are early risers having it open from 7:00 until 10:00 on the weekend was great for us! During the week I believe it opens at 6:00 AM. The staff were amazing and so willing to help answer questions. The grounds are beautiful and I got photos of plants, etc. There is a pool in the enclosed courtyard that again has beautiful grounds and plants surrounding it. It is an older Inn but a gem for the price we paid. As long as it is clean, comfy and homey, and it was, we are not needing a new place, when we are sightseeing and not even in the room that much!

Room Tip: Only have the experience of one room but it was quiet and on the back side away from the street!

Just spent a couple of days in Tucson at this hotel. While it is near a very busy stretch of streets, inside the hotel itself it is very quiet. Nice touch with cookies at the front desk. The front desk staff was friendly and seemed genuinely welcoming upon check-in and check out. The breakfast is nice also though it stops at 9:00 am so if you have a late night and get up at 8:00 am it is a bit of a rush to make it there. Having the breakfast till 10:00 am instead would be nice. The beds are comfortable and the shower head is adjustable. The black out curtains worked really well in keeping out the light. The bathroom for my liking is just a bit too small, the tub itself is small and has a curved shower rod. I did like the sheer panels to let the light through the shower curtain. The bedroom is a very good size so a little could have been taken out to make the bathroom a bit larger - just nitpicky I suppose as the bathroom was clean and neat with a hook on the bathroom door to hang things such as robe.

The main issue is attention to details are needed. The room I was given was pretty clean, however, there was a burn on the lampshade where some guest had let the lamp tip over and it was a big brown burn very noticeable. The carpet edges going into the kitchen was frayed and unraveling so it looked a bit sloppy. Someone had eaten either spaghetti or pizza sauce as it was red and smeared it over the air conditioning unit on/off buttons, temperature dial and on the in room hotel services book cover and it was quite obvious on my first glance. Not that big of a deal, I cleaned them using some Lysol wipes I had brought since I always wipe off the remote and toilet handle when I travel -- yet the maid staff should have noticed the stains before check in when they cleaned the room. The rest of the room was spotless. I looked under and behind the couch, behind the end tables and checked the remote -- and no residue of any kind was left. The bathroom sink and mirror were immaculate so I presume the air unit and the in room book were just overlooked. Someone really should have noticed.

There is a small kitchenette with a stove top, full size microwave and refrigerator along with pots, pans and utensils -- the maid forgot to leave dish liquid yet she left some the next day before I asked so that was a nice catch. There is also a small island and a nice high backed leather chair so one can sit and eat and do so work on your laptop. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty and kept going in and out. Finally, I call the techs and was told someone needed to reboot the server. Someone did, however, the WiFi was still somewhat slow but hey it's free. Though this hotel would score big with guests with the WiFi being more consistent again this area speaks to the attention to details.

I would stay here again for the value as other hotels nearby are quite a bit more and the location suited me well. This hotel has the chance to be a real hidden gem by just looking out for those little small details that add up to a guest in deciding where to stay.

Clean and excellent value for the money, very comfortable beds, amenities well provided in the rooms, sound service. I stayed one night only but highly recommend it for travelers on budget. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The outside decoration is very refreshing.

Very pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the room for the price. Beautifully appointed and everything was clean. Very comfortable bed. The lobby was beautiful and staff very professional and welcoming; even with cookies. Highly recommend this facility.

Room Tip: We were on the first floor and it had a queen with living room and small efficiency kitchen.

Everything about this place is great. However, if you are a woman travelling alone, be aware this is a motel where the rooms open to the outside. If you are, request a room where you have direct access to your car.

The staff at the Quality Inn was exceptional. Very personable, friendly, and acomodating. The facility was nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were decent, plenty of choices both hot and cold. The Happy Hour snacks were a nice surprise. Nice patio/pool area. Would definitely return if in the area again. Close to many restaurant choices and nightlife.
