Best to see in Spring when plants begin to bloom. The restaurant there is fantastic.

“Botanic Gardens in the Desert”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2012

Loved having lunch there at the tea room, then wandering the gardens. The art gallery in the original hacienda house still on the property from the 1920s was fantastic. Loved all the metal sculptures throughout the gardens -- and they are for sale though subtle price tags. The Docent was very helpful and took us on a short private tour. We loved this place! I wish we could have gone to the Gourd Workshop that was the following week but alas our trip was over and we couldn't do it. Maybe next time.
