Another gem of Sonoran desert flora and fauna, with lovely, meandering walking paths, an exquisite little tea room, lovely gift shop, excellent gallery. A great way to spend several restful hours. Lots of places to stop and sit and reflect, lots of great photo opportunities, and a very interesting display of sculpture by a local artist - sculptures are spread around the park.

Tohonol Chul is a must see and do when in Tucson. This park represents what the desert is all about.

Stroll through the desert biome, but also enjoy the butterflies and a great lunch at their cafe.

This is smack in the middle of NW Tucson but when you are there, the city melts away. It's 49 acres of nature preserve. They offer plants for sale, you can spend a couple of hours walking the trails and all cacti, shrubs and trees are labled. They offer some concerts on a stage where seating is under a huge tree, giving the sounds of nature while enjoying the music.

Tohono Chul is the premier place to see (and buy!) Arizona desert plants. They even develop, then sell, their own varieties. Russ Buhrow, their chief Botanist, is a true expert in these plants (although he's a bit of a curmudgeon!). Very worthwhile outing to walk around, see and get info on plants. And the restaurant (used to be called 'Tea House') serves excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner
