Whenever I come to Tucson I come here. I have lunch or breakfast and then an informative and peaceful walk through the gardens! A must see stop

Well worth the visit if you are interested in learning more about the desert plants. It is well laid out and the volunteer staff are very helpful. We wanted to try the restaurant after our visit but was told three would be a 45 minute wait. So you might want to try and make a reservation when you arrive. We were there and a fairly hot day and really enjoyed the shaded rest areas.

A series of small plantings that tell different stories make this a place that is easy to digest. It is lovely and instructive at the same time. The Garden Bistro restaurant was very good as well. We went in spring so there was lots in bloom.

This large planned garden site is a must see. Beautiful designs highlight the best in Sonoran hard scraping and plants. A great place to gather landscaping ideas and learn about the huge variety of desert plants. Greenhouses and plant sale allow you to take home new plants. Helpful volunteers and staff are often available for questions. Lovely, relaxing spot any time if the year. Lunches and teas also on the site and are a delicious and welcome addition.
