The walking trails are short, easy and level. Water fountains are available. Educational signs are interesting and well placed. The variety of desert plants are exceptional. Lots of birds. Small museum and gift shop are nice. Staff and docents polite. Did not eat at Bistro. The park is set among shopping centers and apartments, and as such there is unavoidable traffic noise. A sweet santuary to stroll through nevertheless. Disappointed that the admission was $10 for adults, which seems a bit high. The park opens at 8:00 a.m. which is when I went. A shame they had a maintenance person using a loud leaf blower. They really should get the noisy work done before the gates open. I did not have children with me, but was not impressed with the children's area. This park is definitely better suited for older kids and adults.
