“Okay, but not the best I've seen”

We went to this place as well as few others and it is a nice garden, but then again it is just that a garden. I'd really suggest to go to the desert museum or the titan missile museum other than this place. But if you've done that and you don't really have anything else to do drop by and waste some time. Its a place that should be saved so I wouldn't say that you shouldn't go here. Overall a okay place.

nice place in the middle of town, but it seems to be a glorified nursery with nothing for sale......not my mug of beer

“Well hidden”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 October 2012

Had a hard job finding the location, not helped by the fact the entrance and car park area was being rebuilt. Nice quiet area inside, but not as big as expected. The layouts were a bit disappointing.

“Beautiful Desert Plants right in Tucson”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 September 2012

It was a little hard to find because of the construction at the entrance, but worth it. There were a variety desert planting areas all throughout. Everything was well marked and well kept. It was fun to see artists with their water colors working all through the gardens.

“Even if you're not a plant-lover, you'll enjoy TBG”

Don't miss the butterfly show and visit the gift shop. An unxpected treat in the center of the desert city of Tucson. OK, you won't even know you're in the desert when you visit this place, except for all the stickers on many of the plants :-)
