“Good scenic if you haven't seen saguaro before.”
Reviewed 12 September 2013

Good scenic if you haven't seen saguaro before. But there are not so many other outdoor activities. It's very hot in summer. Good for hiking and bicycling.

“Great place to watch a sunset!”
Reviewed 19 August 2013

We wanted to get good photographs of the sunset and the desert, so we drove around and found several places we liked. There were people there, but we managed to find a secluded spot.

“Part of Saguaro National Park West area”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

They are adjacent. It is open desert, part of the national park, can't tell where one starts and one stops. Beautiful breathtaking scenery you won't find anywhere else.

“Hike Time!”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

The visitor center is stocked with educational exhibits and materials. It has a great jr ranger program! The hikes that fan out from there range from easy to hard, but most are easy-moderate and can be done in 1-2 hours. Take water! The views of the city from some points on the trails is worth a hike itself! These mountains get snow on them sometimes, but it does not last long.
