This is a diamond in the rough! Perfect breakfast bar and the three nights a week that they serve dinner makes it perfect. The pool, hot tub and work out room made our stay fabulous! The suites are spacious, well appointed and clean. Staff is friendly and attentive, Norm in the resturant is a great employee and you know he cares about the travelers. Will definitely stay there again.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. We were visiting from Sierra Vista and had been struggling to find a hotel that was affordable and amazing. I think we've found it.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights Valentine's day weekend. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. The rooms are well appointed and have everything you need to enjoy your stay. I was very impressed with the kitchen area and the bed.

The breakfast looked good but there seemed to be a lot of people eating at once. There is a Waffle house one street over and we decided to go there. Everyone eating looked very pleased though.

The staff are all very helpful and pleasant. Our stay was very quiet, which we enjoy!

Our family of three spent a long weekend in a one bedroom suite and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff was helpful. The halls were quiet. The complementary breakfast had good quality and variety. The pool while not large enough for swimming serious laps was plenty big for kids to splash around and the evening torch lighting was a nice touch. In the suite the beds and sofa were comfy and the kitchen had the basics (dishes, pans, bottle opener) that we needed to make our picnic lunches and even prepare dinner one evening to eat in. Whether the location works for you will depend on what you are wanting to do in the Tucson area. Being on the southside by the airport worked for us as a convenient place to be able to get to out of town activities both west and east of the city. Had we been primarily interested in in-town sites like the downtown museums then a more central location may have been more convenient.

Thank you for the feedback. We are glad you enjoyed what our hotel has to offer. Our pool is not very large but at the night and with the torches lit and the colored lights on, it really is a sight and I am glad you enjoyed it.
What brings you to a city should always be a factor when choosing a hotel, and we have much to offer if you are to be in this side of town.
Thank you.

We hope you come by and see us again.

This was a great choice for a mid-range hotel and I enjoyed my weekend stay here.
The facility was great and everything looks new and fresh. The central common area included sofas, chairs, and tables and doubles as the free breakfast/social hour gathering place. I really liked that they had coffee and soda available 24x7. Breakfast was fairly complete and included scrambled eggs, french toast, make-ur-own waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, bagels, etc. - no meat though.
There is a fireplace and numerous TVs in this area and there was even a separate theater room with a big screen, DVD player, and monster bark-a-loungers. This area can be reserved, but there is no TV access which was a shame as we couldn't watch the football game in there.
In the back of the facility was the pool and jacuzzi area, complete with cool lighting and three huge fire torches. It looked like a mini Las Vegas Mirage hotel ;-) There were also two big gas BBQs.
There is a business center and fitness room.
The staff was uber-helpful and even provided printed directions to some places we wanted to go.
The room was very nice and clean. While not huge, it was nicely arranged and there was a couch, desk, mini-kitchen with microwave, good-sized fridge/freezer, silverware, etc. The bed was comfortable and had 4 nice pillows. The room had a flat screen TV with HBO.
All-in-all, an enjoyable stay and a good value. While close to the airport, I never heard a plane come or go. The Arco gas station across Tucson Blvd. had the best prices around too.

This hotel is simply stunning. From its service, breakfast offering, heated outdoors pool, but even more so its quality finish in it's room (especially the stunningly comfortable beds) leaves this place as an absolute steal. Compared to a few of our other choices on our recent US trip, this would EASILY be the "best value" accommodation we enjoyed in 4 weeks of travel. Well done Staybridge Suites !

I'd love to give this hotel 5 stars for it's staff. Everyone from the front desk to cleaning team was cheerful, friendly, and helpful. We had a queen room (the smaller option) and it was a little cramped but spotlessly clean and nicely appointed. Opt for the bigger room if you're an extended stay, it would have been worth a few dollars more. The extended stay rate was a good value and between the free laundry, midweek free dinners and daily breakfasts, you can save a lot of money -- dinners are pretty basic but decent. Now for the unfortunate downside: if you're assigned a room in the x05 thru x09 series (inner western corner) ask for another. These rooms face the smoking and picnic areas and BBQ grills and some nights you will be choking on the smoke in your room. Even with double windows tighly closed, we had to turn off the AC and place wet towels over the vent to keep the BBQ smoke from penetrating our room. The area also attracts partiers -- cigar smoke and beer parties not conducive to a good nights sleep. We called the front desk on the first cigar smoke incident and were told she couldn't do anything because "that's the designated smoking area," our only customer service disappointment. By the time we realized this was going to be a regular problem, we had unpacked and settled into our room and decided not to request a move. We should have, it would have been worth the hassle. Tip for hotel mgt: I would only rent those rooms as a last resort, and certainly not to extended stay guests. This spoiled what would have been an otherwise excellent experience.

Room Tip: Avoid the x05 thru x09 room series (inner western corner) -- see review.

How great it is to walk into a hotel after already being on the road a week, and be greeated by such a wonderful Staff. I feel they go beyond what would be expected of them. They understand the story of the weary traveler and make your stay there very comfortabe. Liz is a breath of fresh air she was extemly pleasnt even after i had to come geta nrew key for the 3rd or 4th time . Norm did an outstaing job preparing the breakfasts and the dinner for the manager Speciall. Housie keeping did an incredible job of maintaining my room I always came back to a freshly made bed and a bag of popcorn. I look forward to returning, thank you to the entire staff.
