The location is what made me stay here: it's very close to downtown.
But: It was noisy because there was some sort of athletic event where the contestants woke up at 5:30 AM on a Sunday. The desk manager was not friendly: she refused to give us a AAA discount even though the hotel is endorsed by AAA. Yeah, a red flag and I should have left but my friend wanted to stay. She could have also mentioned that there were several teams staying and that they may have some events. Does she know the definition of "host"?
Summary: Shop around. There are plenty of rooms in Tucson with much more friendly and HOSPITABLE staff and better bang for the buck. I won't be back.
