Shame on the Knights of Columbus for letting this beautiful and spiritual site get so run down. They need to take up a collection and put it toward restoration

We stopped by on our trip in Tucson. The statues are in dire need of repair, especially the poor boys at the "Last Supper" table. Noses, ears, fingers are missing from some figures and the entire park could use a good power washing. The white is striking against the brick and brown coloring of the surrounding areas, but up close--is disappointing.

This is a hard name to live up to anyway but seemed very interesting and something that might be nice to check out. It is extremely small and not really a garden at all. Huge powerlines are running through it anyway which kind of killed the atmosphere. There were a few sculptures that were in really bad shape. I think if it were to be fixed up it might be a really nice sight. Unfortunetaly for now I wouldn't waste my time visiting.

See life-sized sculptures of The Holy Family, The Last Supper, Christ on the Cross, Christ in a tomb along the Santa Cruz River/Riverbed (it was totally dry in early June when I was there). The sculptures are in need of some repair, but they are worth seeing, nonetheless.
