Owner description: This 18-hole championship golf course is at 6,681 yards with a 71.9 rating.

I don't know why, but I've always like the setting at 49er, lying next to the Tanque Verde Wash the way it does, with all the big cottonwoods and mesquite trees. A few of the holes just have marvelous settings, but overall the golf course holes are not that interesting, and the conditions vary from fair to poor. The putting green is puny and it's an irons-only range. Certainly wouldn't want to join as a menber. Still, I play there a few times a year since I like walking the course due to the pretty setting.
