“Organic Central”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

This is definitely a spot for the health conscious. No caramel corn here! Prices are a bit high, and parking was hard to find, but there are quite a few vendors. The Mequite Honey was a hit with us though.

“One of my favorite places in Arizona!”
Reviewed 13 March 2014 via mobile

My friend took me here because we don't really have farmer's market in my hometown. I just fell in love with this place! So many things to see and try! People here are also very international and cool to talk to! I actually tried several things here like goat cheese and fresh fruit.
Love this place! Definitely come back to visit again! :)

“Beware of the grammy's canned products”
Reviewed 11 December 2013

We had a nice morning looking at all the products. I bought quite a few things. The Goat's milk soap is wonderful. The produce we bought was okay. The pickled vegies we bought by Grammys from Chochise were not good. I had to throw them away. They are offensively sour with the vinegar used. The jelly was okay, but not worth the cost. Over all a fun day, but with any farmers market, a little pricey and you take your chances.

“Friday Farmers Market at Jesse Owens Park”
Reviewed 11 August 2013

We visited the Friday Farmers Market at Jesse Owens Park. The reason we visited this FM was for the crepes at Planet of the Crepes. We passed a dozen booths on our way to get our crepe. The items that were for sale looked very good; just not a very large selection or variety. We did end up buying soup mix from Jack’s Beans and it was very good.

“THE FARMER'S MARKET FOR TUCSON”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

Every Sunday from 9am to 1pm. The food comes from all corners of Arizona; mostly picked the day before and as fresh and mainly organic as you could possibly want. Seasonally the range from strawberries to peppers, tomatoes to corn it is the real deal. Don't miss the SALSA LADY with her three varieties of medium/hot/and stupid hot salsa----unique and addicting. Free range beef and lamb purveyors are plentiful as are special bean growers with varieties used by the Indians (along with recipes) in great supply. And then there's the coffee man. Cowboy Coffee. He'll brew you up a cup. It'll be the last time you buy any other java. It's the best.
Mainly cash. plus the shops, restaurants and stores of the Plaza all open around 10....could be easily a 2-3 hour adventure
