Owner description: Rated Tucson's #1 tour activity and a great way to get a Taste of Tucson. Tucson Food Tours was featured in the book "100 Things To Do In Tucson Before You Die". We are Tucson's original walking food tour where you not only get a combination of delicious foods and beverages, but a little history of Tucson along the way. This tour is one of the "Top things to do in Tucson" and was designed to allow visitors, locals, foodies to sample some of the hottest local foods and drinks in the area. Even people local to Tucson will learn and taste new things that are unique to this wonderful city. We also specialize in custom, private, or corporate tours and/or events. We can accommodate large groups and handle all the event planning for you!

The walking is easy, there are a variety of foods including gluten free which my wife needs, an interesting and easy going guide and of course other folks to meet. Some local history was also added.
We enjoyed the samples at each location, picked a few we'd return to, and were able to enjoy a few margaritas on our own.
I might suggest adding one of the downtown brew houses at some point as a later stop but overall a great way to spend four hours.

After several visits to Tucson to visit family, we finally hooked up with Tucson Food Tours (they do not operate in summer months) and had an absolutely wonderful day...Brad is a terrific, knowledgeable host. Definitely come hungry because there is plenty of food available. Everything was well organized and smooth.

We enjoyed everything about this tour and would recommend it strongly to others. Brad was an excellent guide, we appreciated the variety and quality of the food at the various stops, and the blending in with Tucson's history and recent development was excellent. The cost seemed very reasonable and you can have a beer as you go, a feature which highlighted Brad's easy-going hospitality. This was a new experience for the three of us from England and we hope to find food tours of the same high standard in other US cities.

We were spending 3 nights in Tucson, heading for Carpinteria, CA. Meeting up with family who saw an advertisment for a walking introduction to resturants, plus history of the Old Time area.

The four of us found Brad to be well in-formed, with great humour, and very well organized. We loved all the eating places he took us to, and enjoyed the walking.

This is a wonderful way to spend the day, and all of us stress that this was a gem.

We strongly suggest to look up Brad's tour whenever you are in the Tocson Area.

We've been on food tours in cities all over the world and this tour came out high on the list when it came to generous food and drink portions and time spent with the guide. Brad has obviously used his personal connections with the management of the restaurants here from his days as a waiter. The pace of the tour was relaxed and we had time to ask all our questions. We've been to Tucson before, but this tour really helped us to orient ourselves with the down town area. Gentrification is well under way in the historic down town buildings and the restaurants are still in a state of flux, but what we saw today makes us want to come back again next year and see the restaurants that have not opened yet. Brad was a great ambassador for his home town.
