What a wonderful stay! Except for the out-of-the-way location for me, this was a great hotel. I enjoyed the pool--it was great for my granddaughter to play in the 1 foot deep area. The service I received from the staff was above average, friendly, courteous, fast and it was one of the least expensive stays for the 14 days of this family vacation. We will make it back to this hotel soon.

Our stay was short, but sweet. The location is perfect for staying in Tucson. Travelers will be able to visit any of the malls and restaurants in twenty mintutes. Some places are walking distance and offer great food. The hotel is newly remodeled and very clean, rooms are comfortable and spacious.

Tucson was our first stop on a 6 week road trip, and we enjoyed one night at La Quinta Reid Park. We stayed in an executive king corner room with a king bed and a queen sofa bed. It was quite large and provided more than adequate space for our family with three children 10 and younger. The room had the usual writing desk, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee-maker, etc. There was also a sitting area (where the sofa bed was) with 2 chairs. Our first floor room was clean, looked to be recently renovated, and was tastefully furnished.

The receptionist was friendly, even offering us a lower rate on our stay. Who can argue with that? We did not hear noises from the neighbors, even though our room was near the vending and ice machines. The variety of food offered at breakfast (continental items as well as some hot ones) was appreciated. I made use of the business center, which was complimentary. The computers were new and internet connection, as well as printing, was fast.

Our room did not have much of a view, as we overlooked the parking lot. The internet connection in the room was a little spotty. The bed was rather hard, as one previous reviewer mentioned, and there were some minor lapses in attention to detail (such as a hanging fire detector).

Overall, however, we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book La Quinta Reid Park the next time we are in Tucson.

Great ,room, staff, pool area and breakfast, all superb. As a hotel owner I know what it takes to keep a place gong and to make most most people happy. It has been renovated and is in great shape. They have got it, everything was very good. I learned the owner has at least 8 other hotels and it shows, he knows what he is doing, hats off to him.
Thomas

Room Tip: They have rooms with a private patio by the pool pay the extra and enjoy!

The location of this hotel is excellent, on the east edge of Central area, just up the street from Reid Park.
Parking is tight, but free, Breakfast area is uninviting as tables are in an open lobby/hallway area.

The room was standard (fridge/micro nice to have) but due to the long corridors, this was a very noisy setup. Room doors could be heard slamming all night long.

Drive a few miles in either direction for quieter hotels in the same price range.

Room Tip: First floor is extremely noisy.

This is a nice hotel and decent area but instead of staying a week, we only stayed one night because the beds were hard as rocks! I recommend you going where we spent the remainder of our week.... Viscount Suites!
