We are SO thrilled to have taken a chance on this place! Our grandchildren were in town for Thanksgiving and we took them over for some go-cart riding. The boys, aged 10 and 13, as well as their father loved it. We got there at opening time on a weekday and the gang had the track to themselves! It seems that each "heat" is about ten minutes long, costing one token per heat. The guys did four heats.
There are lots of curves, and there was some bumping taking place, but by accident. The cars are really safe, but you can really develop some driving skills. The 10 year old had never been behind the wheel, but he learned quickly! What a blast!
There is a concession stand on site. The family that operates the place was busy working on rehabbing a miniature golf course. The facebook page pics look like it is now complete. There was also an awesome looking BMX track on the grounds. There are lots of pics of the BMX track on their Facebook page.
I'm uncertain about wheelchair accessibility. The concession stand and ticket counter is upstairs, but the rest of the activities are at ground level. My guess is that someone in a chair could bypass the concession/ticket area and still be right in the midst of the action at the go-kart track and miniature golf.
There is a huge parking lot, so no worries about whatever you drive. The place is located on the southbound frontage road along I-10, just south of Ina Rd. It's just past the big tower - you'll see it!
