“In The Middle of Downtown Tucson!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2014

We attended the In The Mood concert in March and it was our first experience at the Fox. It's a nice program and was reasonably well attended, but the hall was not totally full. As previous reviewers have reported, the seats are very much on the small side and the leg room is limited. This won't be a problem for relatively small people, but if you're six feet or taller try to get an aisle seat!. The staff members helping folks find their seats were outstanding, cheerful, and helpful. The almost indifferent box office staff could take a lesson or two from them. For some reason, the theatre delayed opening the inside doors to the hall, so the small lobby became very full and cramped. This is not a place for claustrophobics when the door openings are delayed. Worth a visit, but, to me, the theatre just wasn't as grand as I was expecting from previous reviews.

“The Best Concert Hall in Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 April 2014

The best concert hall in town by far! Acoustically flawless and recently renovated this is home to the classiest acts that come to town! Smack dead in the center of town surrounded by hip restaurants and a young college crowd it is fascinating to see the mixture of folks young and old swarming around in the formerly barren business district. It is a wonderful evening on the town with a great lineup of concerts, comedians and other fun events.

One of the most magnificient theathers in the world. Wonderful colorful art deco designed..totally refurbished wonderfully. Historical documents upstairs. Wonderful acoustics for Irish music I can tell you that...even in the cheap seats.

The Fox is a beautifully restored theater. Tuscon citizens should be forever grateful for saving and restoring this historical theater for future generations.

“Awesome Venue”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2014

The Fox Theater was restored to it's original Art Deco period. I couldn't stop looking at. From the ceiling to light fixtures, painting of the walls it is a real treasure. We have been their for a concert twice and the acoustics are great, and no support poles block your view. It's small and intimate and the seats are very comfortable. You must keep in mind if you visit the theater, it's not one of those mega theaters, other wise, one would be disappointed. But, if you truly love great architecture and that Art Deco period, this place won't disappointment. Plus it's located downtown Tucson, so, you have plenty of bars and restaurants to visit.
