“Hidden gem”
Reviewed 14 May 2014 via mobile

A delightful surprise to find such an interesting car museum staffed by friendly and knowledgeable people. Cars plus aviation engines on display. As we are from UK we had not previously heard of a Franklin cars. Bought a t-shirt with a classic car on the back. Open Oct - Memorial Day (May) so just caught it in time.

“Well worth the visit to this interesting Car Collection”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

This little museum will not disappoint. The tour is of Franklin automobiles in three different buildings on the museum grounds. You start with a video explaining Franklin cars and a bit of the foundation to which the collection belongs. There is staff there to answer any questions and will show visitors what's under the hood when asked. Plan to spend at least an hour and half viewing this collection of unique automobiles.

“What a Blooming Surprise in the Desert”
Reviewed 13 April 2014

We LOVED the Franklin Museum and everything about it. THe getting there was fun, a gravel road (briefly) in beautiful adobe desert area. Our guide, who quite obviously loves those cars, was a fount of information about the Franklins and the late Mr, Hubbard, whose legacy this museum is.

Sparkly clean old Franklins, impeccably kept and restored, interior and exterior, lovingly housed in a huge beautiful garage. We own a Franklin and were pleased to learn so much about them from a guide who has loved, driven and worked on them much of his life.

So much history and great stories about not only the cars but Mr. Hubbard and his friendship with Mr. Harrah.

Go there!
