A gem in what can be an overwhelming choice in Tucson.
Give this historic inn a chance to become our stay of choice in old Tucson. Can the fact that this had remained in the same famy in 80 years mean anything you need they have thought of everything to keep you happy, my husband and I appreciate this after 17 years being innkeepers, we will be back.
PS love that it is an older clientele for the relaxing mode.

I know what it takes to keep a hotel this old in workable and presentable condition. We have the Stage Stop Inn in Patagonia a near by town. This place has Old World elegance and a great staff plus lots of extras. Can't wait to come back.
PS coffee needs a little work

Room Tip: All good! This place is very large.

I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed a 4 night stay at the Arizona Inn. I could fill the page with all the little things that make this maybe the best hotel I have ever enjoyed. It has everything We think a hotel should have: Family run - not a chain, beautiful, historic, not too big, very quiet, very private, excellent rooms, perfectly clean, fine furnishings, art, grounds, (the landscapers use hand clippers and brooms not power blowers), classy pool, parking, 5 star restaurant(s) including the main, bar and pool all working off the same menus', very polite and considerate staff, convenient to downtown and area attractions but in a quiet older neighborhood. All the best!

Room Tip: I don't think there is a bad room, really. Note: some have private patios, some have garden vie...

This hotel was just great, surprises around every corner of the room and the property. The mood was great. The staff was very helpful, the only thing that I would say is they need a more average cost dining spot on property. We ate off property each meal because the dining venues were very expensive. We did borrow plates from the hotel to eat some take out on and were charged 16$ for them. Outside of those two items the rates were reasonable and the place was beautiful.

Room Tip: All the rooms were great I saw 4 of them.

After staying at various Tucson area hotels, we found Arizona Inn last year. We just returned, and now I will not stay anywhere else. I adore this place. The grounds are stunning, the service is excellent, and the rooms have a very comforting feel. This historic hotel is 80-some years old, and is furnished accordingly. I usually prefer more modern decor, but it is so fresh here, I hardly notice. Parking is across the street or on the peripheral streets, and once you enter the gate, it feels as if you're in an expansive private Spanish villa. Highly recommended.

We stay at the AZ inn at least six times a year and it never fails to amaze us how this establishment treats all of its guest like family.

This is a long established third generation boutique hotel that has been a main stay in Tucson.

Most of the rooms have a private patio and the facility is all one story.

Very traditional style of inn keeping that had not lost its appeal since it was built in 1936

My wife and I celebrated our 50th Anniversay here thanks to a gift from our daughters. They couldn't have given us a better gift. From the moment we drove up to the Inn until we left everything was first class. Once you enter the lobby area, you feel as if you are stepping back in time. The antique furnishings, the decor, the overall atmosphere is exquisite, without being cloying or overpowering. The grounds are magnificent. This is a photographers delight.(When wandering around the grounds, be sure to look for the resident cat and her litter of kittens.) There is a very comfortable library/sitting room. On departure day we just had to hang out in the library before leaving. Every morning will bring you a newspaper delivered to your doorstep. The room was clean, large, and comfortable. What more can one ask for? All staff members were very pleasant and helpful. The Inn has a large DVD collection comprised mainly of movies starring Hollywood legends who have stayed at the Arizona Inn.
We enjoyed two breakfasts and one dinner in the main dining room and were very happy with our choices.
The Inn is centrally located and near many of the must see Tucson attractions.
This is a special occasion that we will long remember and a place that we can heartily recommend.
