“Beautiful Resort”
Reviewed 12 November 2013

The resort is beautiful. The rooms are large and well appointed, and most of the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating (one front desk gentleman was a little snippy, but the rest of the personnel were great). There is a wonderful hiking trail right next to the hotel that should not be missed. They charge extra for wi-fi in the rooms, which seemed a little "cheap" to us considering the cost of the rooms, but you can go to the lobby and use wi-fi at no cost. I would not pay extra for the continental breakfast if you are there for a conference, as it is only bagels, some sliced fruit, croissants , juice and coffee. Not worth the extra $52 a room. We enjoyed the food at the resort's restaurants and the wait staff is the best! Very friendly and efficient.

Room Tip: Our room looked over the city of Tucson, which is beautiful at night. Choose a 4th floor room for t...

What a great resort. All the bells and whistles, beautiful suites, friendly staff. They have it all. This includes a wonderfully thought out doggie menu. Very expensive, but for one night we were willing to splurge and he loved it. Including his own bottle of water. Crazy, I know, but this just shows how every detail is thought out. My only complaint would be that the pool was overcrowded and we had to wait for chairs.

We were there for the 4th of July and the fireworks show was spectacular as well. Perfect viewing location

The hotel and the overall experience was great. Excellent spa service, tennis, golfing, dining - all top notch. My wife and I enjoyed the stay and the hotel staff made it so much more than just an accommodation. We were lucky to experience a very entertaining band one night, great heated pool and very quaint dessert trails on the property. Highly recommended place for a romantic getaway.

Room Tip: We dose a grand deluxe room with a dramatic view. One gets to pick either city/ canyon or the mounta...

I've been here for the past two weeks on a work assignment. Hotel and ground are very nice and the staff has been accommodating to our group. I have found the food and drinks to be quite good and the staff spectacular. Especially in helping us get to the local stores and restaurants. On the down side - my room is at the far end of the hotel, and it's quite a long walk. My key hasn't worked twice, which required that long walk back to the front desk. They have a few refrigerators and therefore a co-worker and I shared one, although not in the same room. When she checked out and asked to have the food and frig moved to my room, they emptied the frig, threw out all of our food and water, and brought me an empty frig 8 hours later (after three visits to the front desk and two phone calls). No offer to replace the water or food - just an "I'm sorry". Somewhat disappointed in their response in handling this situation, but the beds are comfy !

This wa my third time at this hotel in three years and they never disappoint. Although my room wasn't ready when I arrived, Olivia was still very professional and was working hard to resolve it. I didn't have to wait very long. The doormen are always friendly and looking for ways to help out. I had received and arrival gift by the meeting organizer and the delivery personnel (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are spacious and clean. The shower tub is double width.
Just an overall an excellent experience with this property and staff

Room Tip: Rooms on the East side of the property seem to be a bit quieter, particularly toward the back of the...

Hotel & grounds were very unique. One of the most peaceful hotels I have visited. Staff went above & beyond for every interaction. Tyler Kuhn & Tim Lawson made a wonderful experience truly amazing. Drinks by the fire, under the stars made for an unforgettable experience for weary travelers.

I traveled here with my family last August. The overall setting and hotel was beautiful. The hotel had an interesting layout...some rooms had their doors facing into an enclosed hallway, just like a regular hotel. Other rooms (including the ones we were in) faced out onto an open walkway, like a motel. Not bad, just different. The rooms were really large and had "hot tube-sized" bathtubs to boot. No jets or anything, just really big tubs. The room was well decorated and had a balcony off the front. Our rooms were ground level, so we had a great view of the parking lot :) My only complaint was the random, rolling hairballs that seemed to come out of no where in the bathroom. Otherwise, it was a great stay.
