Well worth it--an impressive property with great customer service, large, clean and airy rooms with terrifice views. I haven't stayed at this particular location before, and I will definitely return here any time I'm in Houston. A hint: the rates were significantly lower when booked directly with Omni, rather than through a service like Expedia.

Beautiful setting and golf course, very nice staff, large bed room, too bad they were from the Twilight zone decorated in the 60's - 70's and now badly in need of maintenance and updating. Breakfast buffet was good, which was comp'ed after reponding to the check question of "how was your stay"?. Recommend asking a lot of questions if you don't have options and need to stay here.

The women's steam room was not working during our stay and a member of the staff told us it had been down for two weeks, and the resort had to have a part "constrcted" to fix it. The carpet in the women's spa was ragged and torn and the wall paper was torn in places. On the golf course one of the ball washers was missing a handle and the base was held together with duct tape. It looked like something you would find at a muni course in west Texas that charged $15 (instead of $145) for a round of golf. The quality of the greens and the course , however, was nice. Just odd that a resort with some nice amenities would not address some glaring issues that detract from the overall experience of staying here.

Hotel was excellent. Fantastic views. Room was well above our expectations. Patio was overlooking the golf course. Room was huge with a small sofa and 2 chairs, bar area with wine cooler and desk. Huge walk in closet. Bathroom was huge with a separate tub and shower. Sundries great. Hotel staff was excellent. Turndown service and ice in the evening.

I have stayed here on several occasions over the past 3 years- all on business trips- and the ambience, look and feel of the hotel and resort complex, the Restaurant (Bob's Steak and Chop House), and service at all levels are- in one word- outstanding. I have stayed at many Omni properties throughout the U.S. and this by far is the best of the lot- and that is saying something.

Spacious suite with kitchen, walk in closet and nice bath. Room was clean and we were treated very well by staff. Internet connection was poor at the location of our room. Very comfortable but in need of updating.

Great customer service and restaurants. Everyone goes the extra mile to serve you and make your trip wonderful. Weather is great. The evenings are just as nice as the day. The fireplaces add to the comfort as you sit with friends and enjoy the evening. Everything is a bonus at this resort.
