My girlfriend came to visit from Germany and we decided to spend a week at this resort. The whole experience was amazing. Everone at the front desk was extremely helpful and outgoing. The resort is absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious and the pool was a blast and had a great atmosphere. Our room was HUGE and the beds were extremely comfortable. We would've taken advantage of our patio had it not been so hot outside!

Everyone was greeting us with a smile and asking us how our day was going. Seemed like everyone remembered us by name as well. That was very impressive. My girlfriend and I both work in hospitality so we try and do our best to remember anyone that stood out to us on our trips. Here it goes...and I apologize if I leave anyone out!

Shannon, the Front Desk Manager, upgrading our room for us after finding out my girlfriend was visiting all the way from Germany. Jason, Andra and Dustin at the front desk were also very helpful to us during our stay....we cant thank them enough!

The guys on the bell staff are on top of it! Shane, Dax, Kevin, Dallas, Patrick were always quick to welcome us. Everyone had a great knowledge of the property and Tucson in general.

The 2 ladies working the concierge desk were perhaps the nicest people we have ever met. Linda and Loretta were extremely helpful and set us up with some great deals at the Foothills Mall.

Thank you so much for helping create such a memeorable time for the both of us. The gorgeous property matches the personality of the staff. THANK YOU

It was a beautiful location and the views were amazing. I think the rate was very reasonable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was extremely nice and accomadating. I would definately stay again. I would suggest new carpeting in our room as it looked alittle worn

A wonderful locale to soak up the sun, enjoy good weather, look up at the bluest of skies and just relax. This Hilton Hotel is comfortable and offers amenities to suit the interests of all guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the El Conquistador.

Take advantage of this wonderful resort experience - especially in the weekday summer months. We arrived on a Thursday and there was a smattering of guests at the hotel. It was busier on the weekend, but still not too crowded. From the moment you arrive at the port a cochere until check-out, this hotel treats you like a very special guest. Service in all areas was exceptional. The staff goes out its way to make sure you enjoy your stay at the hotel.

The hotel offered many activities for families and couples alike: swimming pool and slide for kids - lifeguard on duty; family pool; movies at the pool; activities for kids all day long; star gazing using an $8000 telescope; a visit from the wildlife and desert museum; spa services; an art show(bought a beautiful necklace); 30 tennis courts; golf; entertainment in the bar area; and even a tequila tasting one night (Patron Silver).

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Some offer a view of the Oro Valley, the pool, or the beautiful Pusch Ridge.

We ate at both restaurants. Some of the dishes were better than others. The chile-corn muffins they serve in place of bread were quite yummy. Twice I ordered wine and was served an ample serving.

We are already looking forward to our next stay at the El Conquistador.

Room Tip: Building one seemed to be the "smoking rooms."

Enjoyed our stay very much. Staff are friendly and accommodating, food and drinks were great, and there is a lovely relaxing ambiance here. Not quite as upscale as some of the other Tucson resorts like La Paloma, but it is beautiful and comfortable and we had a great time.
