Giving average but actually left hotel. Based on location (scary) and clientele, (cars in lot) I chose to not stay. right on freeway in bad location. Speaks for itself. Convenient for some, I guess. PIcked Hampton airport. Much nicer. Cheaper.More

I'm sorry our outside appearance and location did not meet your expectations or allow you to experience our service and accommodations, which are both well above average. Thanks for posting your comments and loyalty to the Hampton brand.
This hotel was quite comfortable and the included-in-the-price breakfast bar was quite extensive and very good. There were two computers downstairs that were private and easy to use. The attendant at the front desk was friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel was very convenient for my needs.
The only complaint I have is that when I turned down my bed the first night, there were several hairs on the bed. I assumed it had been slept in so I called the front desk and asked for another room and they were very accommodating by sending up a key to another room immediately. They said they had been trying to get their maids to wear hair nets, so when I found hair in the next room I was able to tell myself that that was all it was. Hair nets would be a simple solution though.

When I first arrived, there was no one at the front desk, but there was a security guard who assured me that someone would come soon. After 4-5 minutes of silence, I finally called the number on the manager's business card that was laid out on the front desk. He came quite promptly. Not a good beginning, but the room was roomy and the bed comfy. My Hilton Honors account makes it clear that my first priority is a quiet room and yet, I received a room facing I-10 where I heard traffic noise off and on all night. The breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly and I liked the room's layout, but the bathroom had a weird light in it that could not be turned off (so I shut the door in order to sleep) and the neighborhood seemed a bit odd. All in all, not a bad stay, but not the kind of place where I look forward to returning.

I have had residence at this Hampton Inn for almost three years (I live in Tucson from Monday through Friday with my work); I stay in the same room each week. As noted in other reviews, the staff on all shifts are most gracious and very service-oriented. The hotel is consistently clean, with all the needed amenities in the room, including free internet, a microwave and refrigerator. The hot breakfast has lots of healthy and hearty options. Our guests include many business professionals and those who are vacationing to see Tucson area sights. The bed and linens.....aaahhhhh.....wonderful.

In the four times I have stayed at this hotel, there have never been any problems.
It is extremely well kept and has good wireless connections with good internet speed. The hotel staff is always courteous and professional. There are also two computers down in the lobby you can use for free if you need to.
The continental breakfast is great with a large selection of freshly prepared food.
They even have once a week "beer night" where the management provides drinks to its customers in the lobby area so they can interact and socialize with one another.
There is a great running path (on the Santa Cruz River) right near by the hotel that goes on for several miles in either direction, great for early morning...not really recommended for any other time due to the heat that is typical of AZ.
They have a nice pool in the rear of the building too, rarely anyone in it, which is nice at times.
The workout room is modest but fits the needs of most. Don't expect a Gold's Gym or anything.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is interested in staying in AZ on a budget.
