“Unbelievable Customer Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2012

My 2yo daughter was sick and we weren't sure we could make our redeye flight home. So we checked in to the hotel in the early afternoon to take a nap and wait out the nausea. My 4yo and I went for a swim in the very nice small pool for a short time then both my girls took a bath. Around 6pm we decided my 2yo was feeling well enough to get on the flight so we packed up and told the desk we were checking out instead of staying overnight. The nice guy at the desk said, "No Charge." I said, "You don't have to do that. We used your beds, your tub and your swimming pool." He said, "We aren't that busy and you didn't prevent us from renting the room to someone else. And we understand." Wow. In addition, the room was clean and up to date. Just stay here.

Room Tip: First floor is nice if you want to use the pool because some of the rooms walk out onto the pool. I...

We stayed here for 3 nights while exploring Saguaro National Park. Be aware that the East side of the park is much closer to the hotel then the west. The hotel was in excellent shape and clean. The room was a nice size and very clean. We chose the breakfast plan which was convenient and had everything from yogurt to eggs and bacon. The staff were super friendly. The pool and hot tub area was very nice with lovely landscaping. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself is relatively new. Rooms are huge and roomy. It is a typical Courtyard standard - no big surprise and no disappointment. The front desk service was good. We didn't have the chance to use the hotel facilities as we were out sightseeing from morning till late night. Location-wise, it is located off the main street and you will need a car to go places. Overall, it is a very nice hotel to stay in Tucson.

Room Tip: Ask for NON-Connecting rooms because the noise from the other side was unbearable.

Dear Overall nice hotel,

Thank you for the great review of our hotel. Something you may not know is that this hotel is one of the top Customer Service hotels in the Courtyard brand. I know you mentioned great customer service - thank you for that again!

You stayed in our hotel on December 24, 2011. Do you have any thoughts of returning to Tucson over the holidays this year? We would love to see you at the Courtyard.

Let us know,

This is an older property a block off the main drag of Broadway. The rooms have been significantly upgraded and include a refrigerator, but the sink area is still small and the coffee maker is on a tray in the closet, because there is no place to put it. I have been in some newer Courtyards, and this does not compare, but it is clean, modern and the rooms refreshed, so I would recommend it.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the inner courtyard are best.

Dear Upgraded Older Courtyard,
Thank you so much for your review of the Courtyard hotel. As General Manager, I am making my best effort to reach out to every guest who was gracious enough to visit us on Trip Advisor. Please know that we continue to do our very best each day to make the hotel great for our guests. I am not sure if we ever be able to correct the small bathroom counter area. However, since your review, we have added new lighting, new towels, and Paul Mitchell amenities to the bathroom. Always improving.
Thank you again and I hope to say hi the next time you are in town,
Logan

This hotel has a small bar and food area. It would be worth it to purchase the breakfast with the booking. The Good Egg is across the parking lot for more variety. The Pita Jungle is also across the parking lot for WONDERFUL lunch or dinner.

The room looks updated and nice linens.

Dear very nice,

Thank you for taking the time to write a great review about the Williams Centre Courtyard. Your recommendation to purchase breakfast in the room rate is perfect! The Courtyard hotel does charge for our excellent made to order breakfast featuring many healthy items and Starbucks coffee. We are also aware that this expense may at times accidentally surprise our guests because it is different from other hotels where they have stayed. We never want to cause this type of surprise. It is our hope that all guests are able to see that our excellent room rates provide the opportunity to choose where and what you want to eat for breakfast - just like you mentioned in your review. The hotel is located right in the Williams Centre business park - near many great restaurant options. I think they all are great!

I hope you the very best!

Logan

Stayed the weekend (2 nights). Basic but must have been remodeled lately. Beautiful decor, breakfast included. Dinner onsite was sketchy. Suggest restaurant visit like Mama Louisa's. Great flatscreen TV. Small sink area outside bathroom. Good service.

Room Tip: I like the top floor so as to not hear heavy walkers.

My hubby and I used "rewards" to find a hotel in an area near the university to attend a concert on campus. Never had stayed at a Courtyard before and we were very impressed. VERY NICE, had a great courtyard view and it was booked only one day in advance through the "800" number. Very comfortable bed in a studio room. Not sure why they had to skimp on the size of the sink/vanity area as we had VERY LITTLE room to put our toiletries on the counter. Everything else was great, clean and even had a frig concealed behind a door that matched the furniture.

Dear GREAT place to stay, 5 miles from U of A,

I am so thankful you mentioned our location in your review of the hotel. This weekend, 2 years after your review was written about the Courtyard Tucson Williams Centre, we were having the same great conversation with our guests. "5 miles from the U of A." A great hotel with FREE 40MEG Wifi, Free Parking, shopping, and 20 restaurants within 1 minute of the hotel.

I hope you are doing amazing today - say hi the next time you are in town.
