Owner description: A true appreciation for wine can be uncovered in the lush wine valleys of Europe, where history and tradition are as rich as the wine itself. I am proud to introduce you to Chateau St. Croix, a winery created in the image of a European estate, complete with vineyard, carriage house, formal garden and art gallery. Modeled after a French Chateau once owned by a Black Musketeer, Chateau St. Croix Winery is located in the heart of the picturesque St. Croix River Valley. Our mission is to source the highest quality local and California grapes, so that we can craft award winning wines for your pleasure. Experience a touch of Europe only a short drive from home! Sincerely, Matthew Scott General Manager

same owners as paradise landing. inconsistent. not a good value. there is a new winery and visitor center 'Winehaven' just 20 miles or so west on Highway 8 (MN) and if they keep up with the display put on at the grand opening, count on this being the winery to be at.

The wine here is absolutely delectable! This winery tops competitors in the area! If you are familiar with the grapes and local wines from the region, you know that most of them make a very sweet wine. Chateau imports some of their grapes from California, which contributes to the amazing tastes of their wines. All were very drinkable. I would say most tasted like very expensive wines. The Chateau is very unique for the area, and well thought out. You don't feel like you are in Wisconsin! Great place for a girls getaway or a date, any time of day.

We have been here several times and always love stopping and tasting the wine and enjoying the scenery. They have some great wine and you never feel rushed. Stop in have some wine, cheese and chocolates.

We stopped by this winery with friends in February. The grounds were lovely covered in snow but are probably breathtaking in the warmer months. We enjoyed the local wines with a cheese and chocolate plate. The winery offers tours of its facility for a small additional fee. We didn't take the tour but enjoyed the ambiance and the experience.

Lots of fantastic wines in all price ranges. We enjoyed the beauty of the location and land as well. Generous cheese, crackers, chocolates plate and a small deli to buy more if necessary. The staff was friendly, welcoming and knowledgable about the wine. We'd glady return!
