Owner description: A true appreciation for wine can be uncovered in the lush wine valleys of Europe, where history and tradition are as rich as the wine itself. I am proud to introduce you to Chateau St. Croix, a winery created in the image of a European estate, complete with vineyard, carriage house, formal garden and art gallery. Modeled after a French Chateau once owned by a Black Musketeer, Chateau St. Croix Winery is located in the heart of the picturesque St. Croix River Valley. Our mission is to source the highest quality local and California grapes, so that we can craft award winning wines for your pleasure. Experience a touch of Europe only a short drive from home! Sincerely, Matthew Scott General Manager

We had a wonderful afternoon drinking some wine and enjoying the atmosphere. Looking out over the snowy vineyard, while enjoying some wonderful wine was the perfect way to spend an afternoon!

We have been wine tasting at this location multiple times and am always pleased with the quality, the value, and the service. It is great for a date, for couples, or for a group. We love the design and atmosphere. I highly recommend at least one visit.

This winery is located out on its own and you drive up to a large brick building with a very medieval feel. Inside the decor is large royalty chairs and knight armor with large antique chandeliers. The wines were not our taste but still very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would say the atmosphere here was the draw.

We were excited to enter the estate-like Chateau as we've been to France but what a disappointment once inside. The main area is beautiful but the back tent area was like being at a wedding reception at a VFW! The music was bad and soooo dang loud we had to go stand in the back room in order not to get a headache. And plastic cups?! Really?! The wine was ehh as it is and to serve them in plastic was a real downer. Glad we brought our own meat, cheese, and cracker snack too. Needless to say, we didn't purchase anything.

Grab a group of friends and check out Oktoberfest! Cash in your purchased tokens for wine tastings (each 1-2 tokens). The tastings are a better deal than purchasing wine by the glass. Local beer is also available for purchase (Lift Bridge, Oliphant, etc.) for those that aren't big on wine but want to participate in festivities. Play some Hammerschlagen ($3 per person per round) while jammin out to the non-traditional Polka band. Food trucks offer a nice variety of munchies to help wash down the wine. Meat and cheese platters available at the small deli inside. Tables and chairs are placed under a large tent (along with the band) outside - tent protects folks from bad weather and wind - so don't let crummy weather deter you from coming to this event. Seating options available outside the tent as well. Plan to spend a few hours here - it is a great time!!

Can't wait to attend next year's Oktoberfest!
