In the summer, San Antonio can get pretty hot (100+ degrees and humid!) so winter is definitely the best time to visit. They decorate the park for Christmas in lights and have special shows for the holidays. Fall is also a nice time to go as they will have Halloween-themed shows, trick-or-treating for little kids, and a slightly scarier version of the rides at night for older kids/adults. The events at the park are fantastic, and this year is an even better time to go as it is Sea World's 50th anniversary! Overall, a great way to spend a day (or two), and a visit to Aquatica makes a summer day even better.

I make sure that all that visit me and want to go to Sea World see this show. Its just as entertaining as the Cirque water show that I have seen in Vegas! Plus, dolphins and belugas! Also the new Shamu show is fun as well.

Fun mix between aquatic creatures and water fun. Great deal this year with toddler free passes and buy one get one free for everyone else. Take your swim gear and plan to get wet!

We love animals, but the crowds are so thick it makes the time here very hard on small children (4 & 5 yr olds). Do not go on a holiday or on the weekend. The shows are short. The amount of time you must arrive before the show is at least 40 minuets to grab a good seat and for kids that's a long time to sit still on a hard steel bench!

This was our second trip to Seaworld, the last trip was about 6 years ago. Last time we went we were able to feed the dolphins in dolphin cove by buying a small dish of three fish for $12 that was the highlight of the day last time. Unfortunately they no longer allow this and you have to purchase an interaction package ranging from $15-$80+ and reservations are highly recommended. We got the $15 one for the kids and 1 adult. I decided to opt out so I could take pictures, since I have swam with them in the past. I was not allowed to go back and take pictures without paying-another disappointment. Not even the photographer they had was near them. Pictures were taken on the opposite side of the pool, and of course my camera wasn't as good as the photographers, therefore I had to buy the photo package for 30$ (but they did put our front gate pictures on the CD). The shows were cute we saw Azule, Shamoo, and the sea lion show. After the sea lion show we purchased a plate of 3 fish for $6 to feed the sea lions. The coasters and rides were fun. We did get the food all-day-food which was a great $ saver, by drinks alone. We weren't expecting great food, just full bellies ( I liked the sandwich deli). There are 4 restaurants you can utilize unless you have an aquatica pass.
