“A must see for kids, if u r in town!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 December 2013 via mobile

We almost cancel the plans to visit this place, after learning this is way smaller than the one we visited in NJ. but for my youngest who never saw a safari, we decided to go. It was tons of fun even though not all the animals mentioned were seen there like kangaroos etc. They hand you a bag of animal food to you at the ticket window. Feeding the zebras & ostrich was soo much fun. They were practically trying to barge inside the cars for food. Giraffe trying to lick hands from inside their fence... Lemurs staring from their island..a gibbon jumping n swinging all over his cage..kids can't get enough of it!
If you are near by, do take your kids here. They will love to feed these pets!!

“Great road trip stop!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 November 2013

We had a great time at the Wildlife Ranch. We drove through on a recent Saturday evening. We arrived about an hour before closing and still felt like we had enough time to see everything (as adults). The animals are fed close to the road, so they are all very easily seen. Also, we bought the extra food ($1.50 per bag), but we did not need it and the animals did not seem interested at all. We did see lots of animals and enjoyed the petting zoo as well. If you had children with your, I think you could expect to spend more time (maybe 2 hours?). I also thought the price was a good value - $17.00 for adults. I think it would be better to try to visit in the morning when the animals are hungry.

“Animals up close!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 November 2013

This is a drive through animal attraction (the largest part of it) but it's a blast! The animals come right up to your vehicle and take food from your hand. There is a wide variety of animals to see. Make sure and go in the morning (more animals are out). And make sure and grab extra bags of feed. There are also attractions around the main area to look at, a giftshop and food. I've been 4 times in 2 years!

“Fun with Animals”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 November 2013

Again went into this very skeptical of what I was going to get - but after reading a few earlier reviews about going in the morning we decided to hit this first before going to the caves - this is a self guided tour ( car ride ) safari style ... I have seen a lot of reviews on this place about NOT to buy extra food but for a $1.50 for a bag sheesh why not, worst that happens you dump it all out at the end, best not to run out of food on your way thru, and you can drive thru multiple times. We started out and got several hundred feet in before we saw any animals, drove up to them and they were very uninterested in what we had same with the second group, we started to get a bit discouraged, but pressed on. However getting to the third group of animals things started to get fun ( guess it was feeding time ) after all was said and done we fed a bunch of different animals including Zebra and one very food happy and not shy Ostrich - they have a small zoo on the outside with a snack bar and gift shop - Yep you can spend a few hours here easy - go in the morning about an hour after opening ( this most likely depends on time of year as well ) All in all had a GREAT time.

“Amazing Animal Interactions”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 November 2013

This was my first safari and I am hooked! The animals roam free and do not hesitate to walk up to cars and/or wander into the road. The zebra's were my favorite as they came right up to the car window until we threw them some food. As another reviewer mentioned, the extra bag of food is not necessary; a fair amount of the animals eat mainly grass and plants and have no interest at the pellets tossed to them. There is a guide book they sell at the admission gate that I do recommend purchasing as it will help identify the animals as you travel through the safari. Also, there is a goat petting pen where you can actually go inside and feed them; we fed them from outside of the pen to avoid stepping in the goat poop that is everywhere and destined to be stuck to the bottom of your sneakers upon exiting.
