“Staff was Very Helpful”

The staff was very helpful with my transportation issues. Most of the Car rental agencies are not 24 hrs. They sent the aiport shuttle to the car rental agency to pick me up so that I didn't have to pay for a cab. That was their solution not mine. Kudos for going the extra mile! Downside - airport shuttle stops running after 11:00 pm. Small Gym.

Very clean. We stayed in a room with a single king bed. It had a keurig. That was nice. I don't drink coffe but it had English Tea as well as coffee. Hot Chocolate or apple cider would have been a wonderful edition. They always seemed to have iced tea, hot tea and coffee in the lobby. The breakfast was ok. The juice tasted canned which is sad considering they tried to save money on such a minuscule thing. The pool was located in the middle of the hotel like an atrium. All the rooms opened to the inside and you can clearly see down on the pool. It wasn't in a separate room. I didn't use it but I wondered if it was possibly a salt water pool because there wasn't a strong chlorine smell. I would prefer a pool in a separate room because I'd like a little privacy an also a separate room helps to cushion the noise from kids swimming. Otherwise everyone gets to enjoy the sounds of kids in the pool. ;) I enjoyed the gym. It was clean and convenient. Weights, bench, 2 treadmills and a elliptical. It was what it was. There was a tv on the main wall and each machine had its own private tv.

Only major issue: The ENTIRE first floor was freezing. It is November and there was a huge cold snap but still. The gym had the AC turned on and set at 65 degrees. It was 30-40 degrees outside. The AC was on, on the first floor everywhere I went. Because of the openness of the hotel and the fact that heat rises I wondered if the AC was on downstairs so the top floors would bake but idk. I do know the first floor was so cold my hands hurt while I wa trying to eat breakfast. Maybe invest in some fans that blow that top level of air back down or something. It was nuts!!! But I'll be back. Great Hotel!

My stay at the Hilton Garden was a pleasant experience as always. Very friendly staff greets you and tends to your every need. I always try and stay at Hilton or Embassy when traveling around the US..The resturant could offer a few more choices, and hours could be a little better (longer)

Booked this hotel because website said they had an airport shuttle but when we got to the airport they said they don't run the shuttle on weekends. That is not what it says on the website! Had to be at the airport in the morning by 5:00 am and the room coffee maker did not work! They had no other alternatives!

We stayed for two nights for business and enjoyed this Hilton Garden Inn very much. The front desk folks (Spencer and Alexandria) are awesome, friendly and very helpful. The rooms are your standard HGI rooms which are always nice. This HGI has a different layout than the others and I enjoyed it very much. Close to shops and restaurants too!

excellent service and the rooms top notch. The management staff and the employees were very nice and helpful. The parking lot was well lighted and felt safe, the breakfast selections were abundant and tasted very good and fresh.

Very comfortable and clean hotel with good amenities. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in correcting a problem with a third party reservation service. I would recommend this hotel as the place to stay in the San Antonio airport area.
