This hotel is ideal for people who only go to San Antonio for shopping.

Very close to Fiesta Texas and La Cantera Mall, just in the junction of HWY 10 and 1604.

Also within minutes of NorthStarMall and outlets in San Marcos.

It is a good option only if you bring your car with you.

The hotel occupies the first five levels of parking on the first floor is a lobby where food is served in the morning and evening and a good sized indoor pool.

The food is very convenient, they are usually snacks, but you are entitled to three alcoholic drinks per day, drinks prepared really well.

We stayed in a suite with two bedrooms. Don't do it. Not worth it.

The suite is expensive and small, are not actually two rooms, rather it is a sofa bed in the entrance and then there's the bathroom, and the room properly.

The sofa is very uncomfortable to sleep.

The television and complimentary wifi worked properly.

Could clean rooms better, under the sofa I saw trash.

It's a bit pricey, but hey, you're going to San Antonio shopping, you can spend a little more for the convenience of the location of this hotel.

We checked in on May 26, 2012. We only stayed for one night. We drove in from Houston to visit Fiesta Texas. The theme park is right down the street from the hotel. It is a very nice hotel with friendly staff. Check in took about 4 min and check out took about 2 min. The breakfast included was really good too. I love the garage parking with security cameras. Makes it feel safe to leave your car. The kids enjoyed the inddor pool. Overall would reccomend and would stay at this hotel again. Great price too!

My husband and I chose this hotel to celebrate our third anniversary! We both walked away completly wishing that there was a Drury hotel in Dallas!
From beginning to end the check-in, food am and pm, the cold pool and hot tub, the LEED green certification, the 8+ mile paved hiking, biking, jogging, we walked trail, cleanliness, close proximity to Six Flags and Sea World, a short drive to the Riverwalk (with great directions pre-printed by front desk), and secure covered parking.
I am warm natured and would have liked a thicker blanket, but my husband was very happy with the temperature
While at the Riverwalk, we were approached to stay at a handful of hotels on the Riverwalk for $99, my husband and I walked away simply because we both wanted to ask the lady, do any of the hotels offer all that the Drury does. We can't wait to visit the Drury in Orlando for next years anniversary.
Thank you all at Drury for a great anniversary stay!

Room Tip: We had a room that faced the freeway, and it was very comfortable, like a low white noise, but for those looking for scenery, rooms on back of property face a beautiful tree-filled green space.

This Dury Inn is a great place to stay near UTSA or Valero corporate HQ, without going the luxury hotel route, such as nearby Westin La Cantera. The rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly, both at check-in, breakfast and check-out. The breakfast was the basic include breakfast buffet, but quite fresh. The eggs were hot, etc. The hotel is a bit hard to get to in the maze of that intersection, but the on-line directions from the hotel's website were right on. I was also impressed by the green efforts of this hotel beyond the usual "save your towels" message. You'll notice the large solar panels as you drive in. Finally, while we did not use it, I could see from our room that it is adjacent to some sort or jogging trail stretching out toward Valero, that seemed to be getting some good use the morning we checked out.

We booked this hotel because we love Drury Inns and for it's close proximity to the Kendall Plantation in Boerne (about 8 miles in distance). We dealt with the group sales department where they took our reservation by phone and then communicated via email which was so nice to have everything in writing! They gave us a link, which allowed our family and friends to book their rooms at a special rate!
Our daughter's wedding was in March during the week of Spring Break. Please realize that if you come to San Antonio for Spring Break, EVERYTHING will be packed - restaurants, shopping, etc. So be prepared for crowds wherever you go. The hotel was no exception but I think it they handled it well considering they must have been at full capacity! We had 40 rooms booked and very few, if any mishaps! We also gave out goody bags to our guests and the check-in desk made sure all of them got distributed! We made a number of requests and they met all of them throughout the week!
This location is ideal for quick access to I-10 and 1604, plus the Shops at La Cantera, The Rim Shopping Center and Fiesta Texas are close by! The hotel offers free covered parking, free breakfast and the 5:30pm "Kick Back" with food and drinks (3 adult beverages per day for those over 21) and too many other amenities to list! Of course the kids loved the pool and we liked the work out room! Complete amenities list here: https://wwwc.druryhotels.com/PropertyHotelServices.aspx?Property=0141
They are a certified "Green" Hotel from the U.S. Green Building Council and they utilize solar energy at this location. It's nice to see a company try to be conscientious on conserving energy. There is a nice 5 mile jogging trail adjacent to the property donated by Valero Energy. We loved that it is a smoke-FREE property, also!
They gave our daughter and her husband who are both military, a few free nights too!
The only negatives that I can think of is that we had a loud neighbor one evening, and after making a phone call to the front desk, the problem ceased. Secondly, the 6th floor terrace faces I-10/1604 and the noise from the traffic makes it difficult to have general conversations out there.
Overall, it was a really great stay in San Antonio and I would definitely recommend Drury Inns for large groups or family travel!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing southwest (away from I-10 & 1604).
