The hotel was clean and the staff provided great service. The hotel is on the new section of the riverwalk, but we felt safe walking to the hotel at night on the street and the riverwalk. I love the full breakfast that is served in the morning. We can't wait to go back.

We chose this hotel mainly because this one has a view of riverwalk. To be honest, the view was a bit disappointing, but this hotel has lots of good reasons to stay.

The best thing was the room itself. We stayed in 2Q suite w/ river view, and the room was pretty spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable.

The swimming pool is on the third floor and it was nice. But it seems like on the weekend even the swimming pool is crowded.

Valet and bell service is a little bit mixed. When arrived, the guy was just standing there and I needed to unload all my bags and put them on the cart. But when departed, the bell man was so helpful and he was putting all the bags in my car, and I didn't even notice that. Some guys are good and some are not.

The location is really good and you could get a cab to go to alamo or anywhere easily.

They have a reception in the evening, and in the breakfast, you could taste your own omelet grilled right there. All the other foods were good as well.

Room Tip: The river view was not like breathtaking, but it was OK.

Great hotel--very courteous staff and beautiflu accomodations. Only issue that I had was that the bedroom vent for the A/C was aimed directly at the right side of the bed which made it a little uncomfortable to sleep at times--but minor issue to me and would not stop me from staying here again. Complimentry breakfast and evening reception was great--food quality wasas expected, not perfect but very good and kept stocked as needed for guests. Lobby and room was clean on arrival with expected service provided in terms of cleaning, etc. Highly recommend this hotel, especially for Hilton Honors program participants. Staff was great from check in to check out. Location was within walking distance for all tourist attractions that we wanted to go to, and staff was helpful with all questions we had.

I was here for a conference. Excellent staff responsiveness. A question about my room thermostat brought the engineer within about 10 mins. Also, missing coffee creamer in room was responded to in 5 mins by a staff person bringing me a bowl of cold half-and-halfs. The breakfast is excellent and an enormous benefit for any meeting to be able to eat quickly at the same hotel you are staying out. Excellent choices of freshly cooked omelettes and add-ons. My only issue was that the bed did not have much give to it and the comforter was showing its age.

I love staying here when we're in San Antonio. The rooms are cute and comfortable. The pool is small and the whole pool area isn't much to enjoy but that's not why you stay there. The breakfast buffet doesn't have any gf food that I could see but there's fruit. I never touch anything on the afternoon and drink time buffet because they can't tell you what's in anything. There are plenty of places to eat around there including The Iron Cactus which has a gf educated staff and the best mashed potatoes with hatch chilies. You can easily walk to the mall and they have the most amazing theater with red leather chairs that recline. I really don't care about the food/drinks from the hotel but if you ask early they could probably give you more information.

My husband and I checked in on 5/20/14 after flying in from So. Ca. Although we arrived way before check-in time, Nicole greeted us warmly and proceeded to register us and promised to call as soon as room was available. She also checked out the city bus schedule and routes for my husband to use to get to his weekly dialysis treatments while in San Antonio. She actually called for the best routes for him. She went WAY above her job description, I am sure. Thank you Nicole. We were assigned to room 1723, a corner suite overlooking the city and river. We sat in the very comfortable lobby for only 10 minutes, when we got a call from Chris at the front desk saying our room was ready! Wow!! Chris checked us in and we were on our way to enjoying 6 wonderful days in San Antonio. Our room was on the top floor, clean, spacious, inviting and comfy. The beds were extremely comfy. The couch in the living room was firm and comfy to sit on. Having a place in the bedroom to sit to put on makeup was a real plus. Plenty of towels, closet space and dressers. We could have used more hangers but did not bother the front desk about this. Chris, Nicole and the front desk staff were ALL very helpful, courteous, patient and professional and friendly as we talked with them throughout the week. The daily breakfast was as described in other reviews. We did not encounter any crowded times during the weekdays. The staff was always super-friendly and helpful especially Krissy! Go Sons of Anarchy! The Memorial weekend brought a HUGE crowd of people yet the staff still had smiles on their faces. An amazing thing to watch! We enjoyed the quiet weekdays however were pleasantly surprised at how the staff worked well under pressure. We had absolutely NO problems with housekeeping and our room was cleaned daily, fresh towels, etc without incident. We also enjoyed the out-door seating at the Luke restaurant/bar every night for happy hour. We did check out the nightly reception included in our stay but preferred the Luke patio. Our servers Ashley, Chad, and Matthew were terrific, as were most of the staff. We had dinner outside on our first night in town and must say that the cheeseburger is one of the best we have EVER had in our many years of traveling. Be prepared to be stuffed if you can eat the whole thing. We shared one towards the end of our stay. Yum. Yum. Yum. We also enjoyed a new drink for us called French 75. Very very good. We did not like the noise level for indoor dining so we chose to sit in the relaxed atmosphere of the deck each night. When the riverwalk was jammed up with people on Saturday night, we were very grateful for this quiet haven with friendly staff and calm breezy nights. We enjoyed being within walking distance from most attractions in the area. Although we preferred dining at restaurants away from the touristy Riverwalk areas, we did enjoy a special birthday dinner at Bella's on the river. After reading the many reviews posted about this hotel, we were keeping an open kind on what we would encounter during our stay. The weekend did bring many more families with lots of kids and more noise, foot-traffic and waiting for elevators but that was to be expected since it was a holiday weekend. Our room was very quiet even with other people checking in on Friday. We had no complaints at all. Checkout by phone was easy on Sunday morning. The management must listen to all complaints and /or reviews and work at correcting issues that people have had. We appreciate your service and recommend your hotel on the Riverwalk. Thanks for the memories.

Room Tip: Quieter rooms away from elevators and the pool area. Corner suites have an extra window. Riverwalk...

Excellent place with excellent service. Place was easy to find and easy to exit to reach highways. It's in the center of San Antonio and the River Walk. Multiple restaruants within the area. Alamo is walking distance with museums and night clubs as well. The overall feeling of the place is very energetic and at the same time peaceful.
