“The worst tour ever!”
Reviewed 30 June 2014 via mobile

Worst ever! Terrible customer service, driver very moody and late for every pick up. Expensive and not worth the time spent waiting.

“Did not enjoy it”
Reviewed 4 June 2014 via mobile

Ride was hot and generally uncomfortable. Could not follow the spiel since the guide talked about things other than what we were going back. Got off before the ride ended. Had foolishly bought a two-day pass, but did not use second day. Total waste of time.

“Very Disappointed”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

TOURIST BEWARE! This trolley only runs once an hour and after we bought ours we found out it stopped running an hour earlier than advertised. Our tour guide was nice enough but spent more time telling jokes and stories than he told us about San Antonio..>The worst part was we were missed on a pickup and after making 3 phone calls we still were there one and half hours later....beware...this trolley runs very far behind schedule and they missed us all together forcing us to walk one mile back to our car. Complaints went unheard at the local and corporate level.

“Great way to get an overview of the historic areas”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

We reallyl enjoyed this trolley tour of historic San Antonio. The driver/guide was very informative. There are several stops along the way, at the Riverwalk, the missions, and other places of interest. You can hop on and off or stay on the trolley for the 1-hour route.

“One trolley, ran way behind schedule”
Reviewed 21 April 2014

When we went to buy the tickets for the trolley tour, we asked a few questions, and everything seemed good. The one thing we forgot to ask is how often the trolley came by. Only after we paid for the tickets did the person tell us they were only running one trolley and it would hit each stop every hour. Oh, and by the way, they were ending their day an hour earlier than normal that day.

We went over to the Baskin Robbins at 12:20, where she said the trolley would stop. The trolley was due at 12:30. It finally showed up at 12:50, and the "guide" said they were running a little behind. He talked very little about the sites we would see, but did have the driver stop next to a field of weeds so he could talk about wildflowers for 5 minutes. If you looked hard you might see one or two amongst the weeds. At each stop he said they'd be back in an hour.

We got off at the Mission San José stop and toured the area for about 50 minutes. We got back to the stop and waited another 25 minutes for the trolley. We guessed that if he made those "wildflower" stops on every run, each one would be well over an hour, so the lateness would continue to get worse with every circle. We didn't bother stopping at the other mission, as we were concerned that since they were running so late they might not bother with the last scheduled run and we'd be stuck there. We got off at El Mercado, and walked back to town after having dinner there.

The ticket included a river tour and a ticket up the Tower of the Americas. The tower was nice, but a short stop. The river tour was excellent. If not for those two activities, we would have considered the trolley ticket a really expensive cab ride to the mission. We got passes for a 2nd day, but didn't bother using them.
