I came into town as a friend was celebrating her birthday at Feast last night. We were a party of 8 and everyone loved the experience. The atmosphere, food and service were all just perfect. Feast has an energy that I have only experienced in restaurants in NY or LA. I love it.

This is a great place to bring your date since it's pretty swank, inexpensive for the amazing food quality served, and filled with a staff that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend the eggs in hell for brunch or the calamari for dinner.

Went here recently with a group and it was a lot of fun. The servings are small (tapas style) and are shared. You'll need to order two or three per person

The beet salad, duck, mac and cheese, mussels and chicken were all good.

We sat outside as the weather was great. I'd like to try inside on my next trip.

Start with a creative cocktail or a nice glass of wine, they have both. The menu is varied, some things for the less adventerous are included. The shared plate style of service provides enough for two or three people to try an adequate portion. The decor is interesting and the veiw outside the large windows is nice. It's a great people watching place. The electic furnishings are comfortable. My son and I shared four plates and each was delicious. My favorite was the marinated calamari, he went nuts for the pork belly and the mac and cheese. I plan on making another visit soon. Only down side is they are not on "Open Table" for reservations.

Feast is a upscale restaurant and bar that is a hot spot for cocktails and "foodie" quality food during the week and on the weekend nights.

On Sunday, it transforms to an amazing brunch spot. They open the doors at 10:30, and if you're not there by 10:45, you'll be waiting for a table. Every single dish is excellent, but three things stand out as truly exceptional.

1) The Egg Sandwich - it's a perfectly balanced dish of a fried egg on a very nice toasted bread with fresh cilantro, a juicy tomato slice and excellent non-greasy chorizo. Light, tasty and very, very good. The fingerling potatoes are a nice match.

2) Candied Bacon. What more do you need to know - it's a very nicely smoked thick-cut bacon that has been candied in what I'm guessing is maple-syrup and brown sugar. Oh so good!

3) Best. French Toast. Ever. They do a magnificent French Toast that is perfectly prepared, but then it's topped with silky butter, a bit of spice and crushed almonds and pistachio pieces. WOW! The combination is amazing!

Oh, and the coffee is great too...

Feast is a good spot for nightlife, but it's a GREAT TREASURE in Southtown for Sunday brunch!
